Pinwheels and Windrows!

Phase 2 of the 2nd crop of hay is now complete!  The raking has been done, resulting in windrows (thanks, Joe, for the correct word for hay raked into rows for drying!)  Next up:  Baling...

Good luck with the baling! Hope everything goes smoothly and your hubby doesn't have too many breakdowns on the baler!

I think the hay rake looks rather artistic with the pinwheels.

Liesl - we're letting our Neighbor to the North bale this year for their beef cattle. They hire "George the Hay Guy" to do it for them, so we don't have to worry about equipment, breakdowns, etc. Yippee!!!

Farmchick - thanks. I loved the way they looked too.
