Sails Up! Sails Down.

A butterfly flexes his biceps or pecs or whatever else he's got to show me his best poses.

Per Katie at NatureID, this is a hackberry emperor (Asterocampa celtis).   :)

I love butterflies. We had quite a few at our farm this season. Lovely shot.

Lovely pictures of butterfly's, but my favorite is the picture you got of the Spinx moth. I love the night moths and I have watched them in early spring and I could see how people might have thought they were fairy's. :) Thank you so much for your comment on Bambi and that you loved it so much that your sister typed it out. Not many people have read it and I am so glad you said you did.
Thanks you for stopping by and I am going to become a follower. I love your pictures and you have such a nice blog.

Have a wonderful day!

Thank you, Farmgirl, for linking in! I had signed up to follow your blog as well!

I still have that old Royal typewriter my sis used to re-type Bambi. I hope I still have the typed copy of Bambi stored around here someplace too! :)

Big smile! Thanks for the mention. If you set out watermelon or other fruit, you'll get more butterflies "posing" for you.

You're very welcome, Nature ID! I've put out citrus fruits (oranges, etc.) as well as some melons in an attempt to attract them. However, I don't do it often enough to get them to count on it! :)
