Little finch

Even though this little female finch is rather drab, I liked the bursts of color in the bokeh - [in photography, bokeh (pronounced /boʊ'kɛ/) is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image, or "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light."]

Yup, obviously I've been visiting way too many photography blogs...

Flickr is a lot of fun, so I think you would like it. It is a great way to share photos and get ideas/learn new things. Nice shot and that tiny bird is so sweet.

Great shot and the bokeh is very cool. Thanks for sharing that. I am learning as much as I can about it as well. Let me know if you find some great sites to visit.

Liesl, we get a ton of blackbirds, sparrows, chickadees and cardinals all through the winter. And if it snows, we need to fill the feeders sometimes twice a day to keep up with the demand.

Thanks, all, for the comments! Might just check out Flikr one of these days! :)
