More fall colors in Texas

A little orange...

Mix in some red and yellow...
Of course some browns (and a bit more yellow)...

And add a dash of...blue?!  Sure, why not!?

Nice photos to wake up to, T. Taking my mind off the fact we're supposed to get freezing rain today. :)

A dash of blue is my favorite!

Is that ice on the bird bath? Brr, glad I am not a bird. :) My favorite has to be the flicker. I love them and the sounds they make in the early morning. You have quite a lot of different birds to see.

Oh, a robin. They haven't been gone long from here and, already, I miss them. Is that last a bluebird? Never see any of those around here.

We only get to see robins for a few weeks in spring and again in fall. They only pass thru, but they remind me so much of my Wisconsin youth that when I hear them, they always make me a bit melancholy.

Yes, we get lots of bluebirds here from spring thru fall - something I DIDN'T get to see in Wis. :)

Morning! Did I tell you we have two parakeets? Perly and Phoebe. They brighten up my entire day as they chirp and flap around in their cage. It does make life so much cheerier!
