The Octopus's Garden

Stopping along the road to snap photos of the adjacent oaks, I noticed this little multi-armed tree and its accompanying color guard.  Someone sawed off the appendages to control the growth along their fenceline, but it still made an interesting subject.

Believe I would have moved the fence, way before it got the second off shoot. I agree, it is interesting.

That's so unusual, but I like it. Hope you had a good day yesterday.

Interesting Photo. It looks like a great place for spiders and bugs to hang out :-)

Nice image, I do like the yellow leaves in contrast.

I think it looks pretty and I like the colored leaves among the green ones.
It does look like a octopus tree. You find such neat things as you travel down the road.

I love how life persists, often defiantly, despite our often ham-fisted efforts to suppress it. I love this shot, and the sentiment behind it.

The anal part of me (yes I do have one) wants to take a chain saw and cut those branches off. Haha! But then, your photo would not have been so interesting.

It's actually oddly beautiful. It feels like little fingers on my skin as I look at it...like one of those foot massagers! :D
