The Grackles, that is a beautiful name for it.

It does look like a popular feeder. I like the Redwing Blackbirds, they flash of color is pretty.

I like 'em all---but most of all I like watching them jockey for position at the feeder.

Wow! Impressive! You have so many!

Push and shove! Neither one of them are particularly well known for their politeness. But, that's what makes them so much fin to watch.

I love the color on those Grackles and those eyes, woe.I can't help but notice that the PIne Siskins are undisturbed by all the battles going on around them.

Looks like you need a little more seed in that feeder! :)

Red Wing Blackbirds are so pretty, but I haven't seen any of them lately.

Watch my blog tomorrow for a "bird post"!

Not surprised that the grackles won. Those are some feisty birds. Terrific action in that third shot.

Mother must not have taught them to play nice :).

The red and blue hues would be pretty if they'd just not bring 100 of their closest friends with them! LOL!

Gorgeous!! I know of some people that get upset having these birds come to their feeders - as if the feeders were put out there for a special kind only. Anyway, aren't they so lovely? How can one be annoyed by ANY kind of bird?

I love your pictures - always.
xoxo

I cannot imagine how much seed you go through! That said, it's worth it for all of the fun you get watching the birds, isn't it?
