Cardinals and other birds

Birds.  Big surprise, huh?  Like I couldn't find anything else to post about here.  Besides dogs, anyway...

No, we no longer have snow here.  These were from last week's mess...

I like the first photo. The lady cardinals just look so right at home, and very pretty.

Pretty red smartalecs! And, it seems like every time I see them, the Goldfinches are getting more and more yellow.

Thanks for sharing your cardinals. They've only shared their flash of color at our feeders a couple of times this winter. I love them!
Thanks for visiting my Sister, Sister blog today.

You are really getting good with that camera, T. I think these are some of your best photos yet. So clear and sharp -- and the colors just pop.

(And yes, I changed my avatar again. I didn't like the other one. Who am I again? Lol.)

They're all great shots! About all i post this time of year is birds because everything is either leftover white or waiting to green and birds are the only interesting color out there.

I may not always have something to say, but I NEVER get tired of your bird pics. I looooooove those cardinals. Personally, I think the females are prettier than the males.

Very colorful group of birdies here. Glad you no longer have snow! And I'm with Karen who commented above about the female cardinals. Love their little orange beaks.

Dogs, birds, and don't forget the tree rats! Like I'd let you forget, anyway. :-) It's hard to beat winter photos of male cardinals.
