Origami

An egret practices his crane techniques.

That's our little solo grebe in the foreground checking out the egret's form.

Good morning friend! Yes, we have not had the rolling blackout's yet. Could come at any time though! Ditto on the thankfulness for a warm house, heater, food, etc. Love your pond pictures. I think we may be pretty close to each other! Need to meet someday for a cup of coffee! Blessings!

Wow! Water! And it isn't frozen! Wow! I haven't seen the egrets in months now. I think they left around early October, along with the great blue herons. I did see my first robin last week, but after this storm, they probably left again.

Where is your ice? No fair. Love the egret. I have a kid who practices her form in my backyard (Taekwondo form). It is one of my favorite sights because she doesn't knwo I'm watching and she is a pretty much a bad you know what. =)

So very graceful...and...where is your snow/ice? Did you avoid it altogether?

Wax on, wax off. Haha! Very cool to see the egret do its thing. The little grebe must be in awe.

Looks beautiful where you are... :)

We got a dusting of snow and ice pellets yesterday after heavy rains and thunderstorms rolled thru during the night. Then just very harsh winds and COLD temps (low teens last night - too cold for Dallas area!!!)

Hey, Texwis! My blog is down for a few days because I was getting lots of traffic from a bad blog. I went private for a few days while I try to resolve the problem. I'll be visiting you though.
