I think I'd like to be there right now. I can hears the birds chirping and the occasional 'whinny', very relaxing.

My girls are home since its spring break here. I just called them over to see your photos of your horses. Reaction : "Oh they're soooooo pretty! Shes so lucky! When can we get one?" Um, when you buy a ranch.
They'll have to settle with riding lessons for now :)

Can't beat watching horses grazing in a field or on pasture! A picture works! I am surprised those trees don't have leaves on them!

when I saw these photos the first thing that came to mind was that Bob Dylan tune - All the Tired Horses. I've always loved that song, so thanks for the pleasant thought! I'm wondering how long you can sit and watch them. It's pure speculation on my part, but I believe I could most likely sit for a good long time. it's "serenity now". I hope you have a lovely Monday, TWgirl.

Those are beautiful horses. Your shot is very successful with such nice color of the horses, but also the grayish background that doesn't compete.
Very well done!

Uh... I try not to show my kids your blog too much because the inevitable answer is always... "Can't we have a farm like that?" :D

Oh, I love these horses. The mare is certainly enjoying her "retirement" I think. Do you ever ride them? I love the dog you posted today - how old is he? Such a sweet place you have.
