Darling! I love that little red one!!!
they almost don't look real....
hey there! you are following Sinbad's journey through the SW as am I, and isn't it just a great pleasure to do it? I love orange kitties and that's how I met Johnny Lee - he saw that I had an orange kitty and well...the rest is history! I love finches too - their song and the way they fly, bobbing up and down like that. you must be so happy they've returned. I haven't seen any around here yet, but I tell you, when the baltimore orioles make their appearance on their way north - look out. we go pretty crazy over that event! have a great weekend TWgirl.
I love that last picture,what a cutie!
Very nice - love finches! I'm waiting for the yellow finches to come back.
They are so effervescent! Those are great pictures, T! You obviously have a steady hand....:)JP
They are so pretty. We had a few over the winter, but haven't seen them lately. :)
I used to have more house finches than I do now. I'm not sure what changed. I do have lots of goldfinches at the thistle feeder, though.
Tex, what a great way to describe them; a splash of color :) I like that! I hope you are doing okay...
I love that last photo! I bet they sound wonderful too.
Keep that bird bath full!
They are so sweet!
I think house finches are rivals of purple finches. Do you get purple finches? Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
They are so cute =)
We need to shovel around our feeders, they're still in a 3ft. drift. We'll be ready when they get here. Love your pics!
I get only House Finches. I like them and goldfinches. I keep looking for a purple finch but so far have not identified one here. Your photos are very good.
I actually have these at my feeders in the early spring. I wasn't sure, but you and Abe have helped me id them. Thanks!
That's brilliant, the house finch is lovely.

We have those here all year long, at least it seems like we do...I love seeing them.
Yep look they look like the bunch that are waiting around for sunflowers. I hate to tell them it is going to be awhile.
I love all the colors they have in them. Beautiful!Teresa
I love the House Finches. They have such a beautiful song.
A nice series sharing these house finches with us. Today I was watching Nuthatches and Mountain chickedees. What good fun.
They look so sweet. Love your feeders.
I love the drama of that second shot - framed by that circle! The last shot of the bird tip toeing along the edge. You live in a charmed setting!

We are over-run with cardinals but no Finches...yet!J loves his bird feeders. First thing he does when he gets home each day is check on all the feeders. Then he kisses me hello!Have a great weekend :)xo, misha
