Tuxedo time

Figured it was high time I gave Tuxedo some blog time.  Our barn kitty rules the loft during the day and hangs with the horses on the ground floor at night (as well as mousing, frogging and birding time).

Linking in to Clytie for Guest Heart Thursday
See the little peeling paint heart on the bottom window slat?

I love the pics of him in the barn. What a handsome boy. It must be barn cat day. I was blogging about a beloved barn cat in my past - part true, part fiction, today. :-)

Number one:that first kitty pic is fabulous! And secondly, Theresa... if ever you find an old red barn shutter or window somebody is throwing out, you know where to send it! ;) I swoon!!!!!

Tuxedo, you are gorgeous! You deserve a series of posts, you know that?

You take the charm of an old barn, add a fancy character like Tuxedo, and you have a desktop background for my laptop. May I?

Love.

Looks too regal to be a barn cat. Something tells me the feline has been doted upon by certain humans nearby....

What a pretty kitty. He is looks very happy and healthy. I see the heart I love when you see them like that. Thank you for your comment today. It blessed me. I was walking yesterday and because of your pictures I was able to tell that this flock of birds was Ceder Waxwings. So keep taking pictures, I am learning so much. I can't learn that well from my bird books.

I had to go back and look for the little heart - I was so caught up in the gorgeous Tuxedo (what a PERFECT name!). Now I see the peeling paint heart, and it also is PERFECT!

Happy Guest Heart Thursday!

Tuxedo cats are the most elegant of cats, I think, and your Tuxedo is a splendid example. He looks like he rules his world, a benevolent despot.

oh, your sweet kitty looks so much like our beloved Lev...he was sadly attacked and killed by a stronger animal in the woods behind our home to autumns ago...he was one of the gentlest (and biggest) cats ever to live in our home.

oh yes. He knows he is in charge!

Beeeeeutiful kittie!!!

Hi! Just read your comment, over on Deb's ['Ladybug's] blog. Where you said; "As a reformed Catholic, no I don't. :)".... To her question of, do you give up something for lent?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I loved it! "As a reformed catholic." -giggles- Wonder what "a reformed catholic" is?

I was catholic for 63 years and finally gave myself permission to think for myself and see all the silliness. So I'm about as "reformed" as one can get. :-) Wonder what you mean by the term?

Gentle hugs...

Tuxedo is a very handsome fellow, he looks like he knows that is HIS barn.

I see the pealing paint heart but also in the third photo down the little wisp of white fur on Tuxedo's leg looks like a heart.

Beautiful barn cat, that Tuxedo! We are very grateful to our seven that keep the barn pest free and keep us pretty entertained, as well.
