Yes, they ARE cute...
great shots,he is adorable!
squirrels are so intrigueing until they attack your leg!!
I dunno....after having been thru several bouts of squirrels in the attic eating up drywall and wiring and going thru the "politically correct" methodology of removing them and finally settling on the only way that works perfectly-------a .22 rifle-------I'm not as fond of the rodents as I once was. Ha.
They are so cute...but my dog Lucy wants to eat them!! Hasn't caught one yet though :)
Like Clint, I am having this ongoing battle with a particular persistant Grey Squirrel whose figured a way to squeeze his head through the "squirrel proof" caging around a bird feeder. I wouldn't resort to a .22 though. A missed shot would put the bullet right through the neighbor's house a 100 yards away. So it remains a battle of wits with no clear winner as of yet.
He is cool!
cute...cute...cute...they are always up to something aren't they....
They are so cute...but too smart for their own good. One local one has just learned how to shinny up a pole to a bird feeder filled with sunflower seeds!
As "cute" as they are, they sure spend a lot of time at my bird feeders. My feeders hang on a shepherds hook and once while feeling very frustrated with the squirrels getting all the food, I sprayed the staff with Pam. It was fun to watch! But, those crazy squirrels outsmarted me by jumping. I figured they won so now just put out extra food. ;)
wouldn't it be fun to have one as a pet, like uncle billy in "it's a wonderful life"?
Love that little dude ... always entertaining.
I love watching the squirrels in our yard! They're quite entertaining! Great shots!
Aaaaaawwwww I have always loved squirrels.
Yes, they ARE cute but a big pain in the patooty!
Cute shots of your squirrels. They can be a pain though.
In the Fifth picture down, I'd like to translate to you what he is saying. I know squirrel. He's bowing down to your superior abilities to provide such a wealth of delicious seeds just for him. He says thanks, he loves the sunflower seeds. Well....at least that's what mine say! lol
Theresa, nice shots. I do like them, but I wish they would find someplace else to eat!
Now you've got me calling them scamper rats. Great series!
Cute shots...they are fun to watch!
I just love watching the squirrels! Great captures.Teresa
Happy to see any wild life this time of year! Where I leave, the scamper rats are still frozen in the ground :(
What a cutie!
Could never have had enough of him!
They are and such industrious workers. When we first moved here I was amazed by their diligence. Then they came inside and destroyed a few things. I wasn't as impressed any more. Go figure. : )
That is one fat little rascal! Looks like he's been eating quite well.
I wish I had squirrels. They are so cute and spritely. :)
Love the label...varmints! They are stink'n cute though.Tiffany
Oh my gosh--that is so cute!! What awesome shots you got. Love it :)
I think it's a good thing they are cute because they sure are pesky. But they really are cute.
What great photos! They are too cute!
LOL! Those are awesome pictures, T! I love me some tree rat photos! Can't help but laugh!

Hi Texwisgirl, Yes, I heartily agree that they are adorable! Nice pictures. Have a wonderful day today!Wildlifewatcher
I have squirrels that come here, but I sure miss Mama Squirrel...she came here for 4 years....I think she has passed on though. The last time we seen her she was skin and bones and would not have known it was her except that she came to us when I called her name.
Love it, love it, love it to pieces!! What a fantastic series of pictures you took. You are so good at it, Ms. T. !!A big hug.
I worked at Kent State (Ohio) for several years and they have black squirrels. Have you ever seen them? I think you would love them. Beautiful and big plump ones because of all the trees in the area.
What a little cutie!
Perfect name. Interesting vermin!
Nice series, he's so cute!
i dont know about that creepy tail - I think it needs a Texan hair combout...lol
