Realmente estupendas las fotos que nos ha dejado. Un placer haberme pasado por tu casa.Saludos y un abrazo.
Great pics. I would love to capture a shot of that hawk!!
Ha! The word raptor obviously evokes thoughts of Jurassic Park! Your life is exciting, Theresa!! Any T-Rexes in the area? :D
That last picture is fantastic. A great expression on the bird's face.
Great captures. I love the last shot!
the hawk does look like he is really aggravated with the black bird, i can see it in the photo. keep snapping
Popular meeting spot. :)
That tree must be the birds version of the 'water cooler'! Nice shots!
we had a hawk flying close yesterday....the starlings have started kicking their babies out of the nest...guess he's looking for snacks...great photos...
The hawks don't dare stop in our yard. The resident crows go crazy!Wonderful shots!!
Your trees must be good posing areas. Nice:)
*snicker* He probably flew from across the pond to escape all the wedding whirl!xo, misha
Amazing - simply wonderful pictures and awesome birds
I can almost just imagine you sneaking around getting great bird shots...
I love silhouettes! or almost silhouettes.Teresa
so great....LOVE the last line....cracking up over here!!!!nice hawk, i had one yesterday, fly right past the window, very close to the house. i did not run for the camera, i knew i would not make it. so i just sat and enjoyed the moment!!!
A fine series. I like some that are silhouettes while the last one has interesting details and is more visible. Excellent shooting.
The skies look dark and dangerous. I hope you are not having severe weather like other parts of the midwest are.
Very good, the latter the better.
I think all of these are fantastic. I love all of the things that you see.
Theresa, nice shots. The crows certainly play havoc with the hawks!
Thanks! Love the hawk...
I'm sure the hawk knows that crows in numbers can be a threat to his life.--Inger
He does look like he could do with out the attention.
Hi Texwisgirl, I love this set of your pictures. Very good shots in low light. Have a great Saturday!
Ohh, those are like silhouettes...what beauty!I hope you are enjoying your day on this lovely Saturday! We have beautiful weather up here and even though we had school today, the afternoon is mine!
You sure know your birds. I bet they know you, too. "Here's that lady with the camera!!!!" I don't know how I missed the dog pictures yesterday. She looks like an American Pointer. She must point out your birds. You photos are attention grabbers. Thanks.Manzanita@Wannabuyaduck

Love the photo of the hawk! We don't see birds like that where I live :)
That is a fine shot of the hawk. I lucked out and got one of a heron in a tree a few weeks ago. It looked right at home up there, odd for me when I'm used to seeing them on the water's edge.
don't know how I missed those photos of Thelma Jean, but she's adorable. love all that green, and her spotted ear. I've never seen a heron in a tree before, only on the ground or standing in water. great shots!
I guess the hawk doesn't like to share his space with a crow? I guess birds of a feather don't like to flock together... ;-))
The last one is very good, it seems that he was looking at the camera =)
Papperazzi! lol The birds seem to like that tree. Nice almost silhouettes.
Actually the last comment isn't Ike. It's RubbishbyRoan at Ike's house. Babysitting while mom & dad are in Dallas. ;)
That last shot is awesome! I should really say they all are awesome!
I often see hawks being chased by smaller birds. I like the second shot, like it's saying "Hey, go away!"
Such beautiful birds. nice job captuing him in low light.
Beautiful bird silhouettes, against a gray sky. I like these very much.
I love taking pictures of hawks, but most of the time they fly away :~(Cool shots.B.
Lovely story in pictures :D'What's a haw to do?'Love it.He's just as majestic as ever :)
Even though he is surrounded by manic fans and paparazzi Mr. Hawk maintains his cool. Great shots!
Ooh, very cool shots!
Great shots of the hawk! We saw plenty of predator birds in the Florida Wetlands. Thank you for your loyal visits to my blog. I'm glad to have a good connection today so I can visit yours!
Haha--paparazzi!!! I bet they actually think that sometimes.
What great shots! We have lots of crows hanging around our place too. I think the hawks always look angry. It must be a raptor thing.
very atmospheric, well captured!!
