At least yours aren't fighting. Ours fight all of the time, especially when I am trying to take a nap. Then I have visions of BB guns dancing in my head. :)

The Blue Jay's are so beautiful! They don't grace my house as often as I'd like. Did you know that the male and female look alike? The female is just a little smaller than the male is what I read one time. I had wondered what the female looked like because I didn't think I had ever seen one! lol

Have a Great Day!

I've never seen a blue jay...a really blue blue jay! These are fabulous images! I love the bathing one, especially. (We have Stellar Jays here, but that's it. Very noisy creatures!)

Theresa, great shots. I always liked Blue Jays. They are such characters.
We don't get them here on the west coast.

They are SO pretty! I love how the one is patiently waiting for the other to finish their bath!

Nice shots again! Love to watch the bluejays and love their brilliant blue, but not fond of the thieving they do of the small songbird nests. Bittersweet. The lil rascals are sure pretty tho.

How do birds get themselves clean without soap? I mean, what would happen if we humanoids got in the shower and just rubbed water around on our bods without soap---and then didn't dry off with a towel, instead just walked around until we were dry? Perhaps you should put some soapy water out there along with a few small towels (biodegradable, of course).

Wonderful post with fabulous images! Aren't Blue Jays handsome looking birds? The variety of blue tones in their feathers are lovely. What fun to watch them in your bird bath!

Those are cool pictures. although Blue Jays can be "bossy", they are a beautiful bird. It's funny when they all crowd into a little birdbath.
