Great captures. They look so strange sat in a line, posing beautifully for you.

Sure you got enough ducks there? How many did you count?

Samantha said...

The 3rd and 4th shots are my favorites..I'm floored by how many there are!

IanH said...

Nice looking ducks. We don't get that type up this way. At least, I've never seen one.

Woody said...

That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen - ducks standing on a fence. I mean, how does that work with the webbed feet? This would be great for a caption contest.

(... as she clears her throat) Um, have I mentioned how much I love your blog?

Ok I am packing up to come see those little cute things you find all over your property! LOVE IT! I sure look forward to your daily posts. I think about you during the day, living out there in the round house among all the nature and beauty. We all have our beauty, and I am so glad we can all share a part of it with each other.

They are either rehearsing for a Rockettes competition, or there is a good matinée they all want to see, or its just another fun day at the ranch!!

That is just too cute! I have never seen those ducks before. They are awfully good at sitting on the fence. I think they may have spent a lot of time in Washington DC.

Ms. Becky said...

you couldn't have directed this line-up any better had you tried. I'm wondering if they whistle at certain times of the day, or in flight, etc. Do you hear it? these are intriguing birds. and your photos are splendid!

Negerigeletschtempoit said...

Ms. T, I did write a comment on this post. Blogger ate it!

I did not know that ducks could "roost". Maybe it is because the fence is thick enough for their flat feet, you think?

The collection is - again - great! Top notch, my friend!
xxxxx A bunch of them!

Perching ducks. Now I've seen it all. I suppose your sparrows, blackbirds and such swim around in your pond. Yep, the line of ducks on a fence is a first for me. Funny, bizzare and cute all wrapped up in one.
