Ah, what sweet paws. Our town is having a pet parade and our pooches can get pictures with the Easter bunny. Cracks me up to think about it. They also get an award for best dressed. I imagine there will be no ranch dogs in attendance for such silliness. (Even my silly doggie won't be there.) =)

I recognize these; they fly through the air attached to an 80 lb Lab and land on my chest when I have my afternoon nap. :)

You know---I actually laughed out loud when I saw your photographs. Who but you would have thought to take close-ups of fido's feet? And they turned out really nice---very creative!

Those came out really good! I'm always having trouble taking pics of my dogs paws. They're too furry!

Hmm...I wonder if Sinbad would let me photograph his feet. Like Clint said, these shots were amusing to look at. Thanks for the morning smile.

A fine idea to shoot something so common but so important to our animal friends. A fine series of close ups.

Hi Tex, Wow, lots of interesting posts the last few days. Very neat idea to repost your very first post on your blogiversary and congratulations on a year of great posts. Otherwise, my favorites are the pictures of the bluebonnets. I’m not sure if I told you before, but I grew up in Texas, and there are a few things I really miss including bluebonnets and BBQ. I really like the way you let the pictures do the talking in some of your posts. That’s not to say that I don’t appreciate your words, but just that it’s neat to sometimes let the pictures speak for themselves. I’m learning from you! Now, thank you for stopping by my blog and your comments. Your last comment on my Yellowstone post was especially thoughtful and you are so right, traveling and touring back in the early 1900s was quite a bit different and more difficult than today, not even to mention the costs. Have a great day and I look forward to your next posts. John

Made me smile today as I sit in a middle of a snow storm. Can you believe it?

(That was my son's camera. He actually has a very nice one...compared to my phone camera!!! He saved for it and now his mother has camera envy.....;))

Goodness, if that was Lorelei's dog and I was trying to get down and take a picture of his paws, I would have had a bath by now with his tongue!
