(Some) sitting ducks

The whistlers will be separating off soon to nest so if I seem like I'm 'front-loading' my blog with photos of them, maybe I am.  I will miss the flocks until they gather again in fall before their migration south.

I almost think these ducks enjoy having their picture taken.

two of these photos look like the ones you took of your two horses, heads turned like they are one instead of two.

You are very fortunate to have those guys drop by twice a year. All we seem to get is deer and moose.

These ducks are gorgeous; keep 'em coming because I'm not tired of them. Do they actually whistle instead of quack? Or is it how they sound when they fly?
