Titmouse house

A titmouse pair took over one of the houses along the pond to raise a brood.  They're busy feeding young ones now.

Man! That must've been a short courtship! Spring has barely sprung.

Yesterday I watched a titmouse remove fluff from a ball of nesting material we have hanging over our deck as it's mate looked on. I guess being Californians they are late in getting on with the business of nest making. That 500 is really working for you. I can see it in your photos. Great shots.

They are so cute~ I love their eyes. We see them often at our sunflower feeders too, along with their buddies, the chickadees.

How I wish to see one...they have the coolest eyes. Are they about the size of a bluebird? Awesome to have them nesting so near.
Also love the Black Bellied Whistlers.

I love all the different birds you have! Lots of them don't like our weather...so I just get to see them on your post!

These are neat birds, I like the tuft on their head.

I have a nice shot of one of these peeking out from behind a feeder.

As for my Pics and Pieces not being listed on the Time Stand Still...I went ahead and put it on the side as "My Web Page." I have them under two different email addresses so it don't they don't show up in each other's profile. But thanks to your prompting, I did make think to list it as my web page.
