Wood ducks

The black-bellied whistlers are not the only visitors we've been getting at the pond.  A pair of wood ducks comes in each day to dine on the scratch feed we scatter at the edge.

I would love to see more shots of this beautiful pair. How far is this pond (lake) from your windows. Or do you have to walk down a path and up and over some hills. Such a slice of heaven!

And all I get here are ravens. Not true, but nowhere near the versatility of birds that gather at your pond.

It must be fun to see who will show up at the pond next. This is a fine shot of these two. They paddled by just right for this shot.
