I think hawk's are awesome, great photos!!
I like hawks! Look at his big eyes! Nice shots!
What great shots!
Bonitas fotografías!!! Muchos saludos.
pretty bird, pretty bird, that is what i am saying. i think you are right, he looks like our hawks here and that is what they are. i get a little miffed at ours because they have decimated our song birds. our yard used to be filled with singing birds and doves cooing and now it is rare to see them.
He does look a bit confused and mussed up. He is really pretty though. Hey, anyone with a red barn like you is like totally in farm girl category in my list. Not to mention your own pond. :)
He almost looks like he was in a tousle or something. Pretty bird!
Love hawks. We see them flying overhead once in a while. Our backyard is quite open with not a lot of trees so I think they cruise overhead looking for rodents. With so many snakes though, the rodent population is scarce around here.Great photos!Di
pretty pretty! I love when they fly low and you can hear their wings swooshing through the air. Nature is so beautiful!
what a handsome and intense guy.
Wow, he posed for you very nicely. Great shots! :)
I am sure he is enjoying the Texas heat! xo Jenny
Great shots! Looks like your ranch is Critter Central. You oughta' charge rent.
Hawk Precious, I love the first two with the bottom water reflections, a marvel.
How nice that he posed for you! Mine never do! Great shots!
It is beautiful!
A very handsome bird, lovely shots!I have just been looking through all your recent butterfly photos and I must say that not only are the butterflies lovely but your photos of them are really beautiful :)
I love hawks they remind me of my Dad. Whenever I have a very bad day one usually shows up. I take that as a sign of my Dad saying everything will work out fine. Thanks for making me smile. B
Your pond is a bird magnet!
I absolutely love hawks! They intrigue me for some reason. Great shots!..:)JP
Looks like a young'n to me. That snag perch sure does get a lot of use from the local feathered friends.
He obviously a beautiful Hawk.
wow...it must be so awesome to be in the presence of such a regal bird.great shots....i like the last couple....no, i relooked, i love them all!!!! xo
He does look a bit unsure of himself! Still trying to learn how to be a hawk. He chooses perches well!
We've seen a Cooper's Hawk swooping around here trying to snatch up a bird. Now if it would only take the cowbirds that are still hanging around here, I'd be very happy. Cool pictures!
So great hawk images. Beautiful!!!!
Another amazing creature!
Beautiful bird. Beautiful shots.
He looks so majestic! As always, wonderful pictures.
I've only seen one hawk in my yard this year ... trying to feed off the birds at the feeder!
Hawks are such regal birds. We have loads of them around here but they have so much room to hunt that it's usually tough to get a good shot.....or it was until I got my monster lens. Now if I can just get 2 men and a boy to hold that thing up while I focus the shot.......
got to love hawks.look awesome!betty xx
Great shots of the hawk. I don't know what kind but it does look like a juvenile. We have a Red tailed female that hunts a field from the back edge of our yard.
Nice shots, T. :)
Cool shots of the hawk!
It's probably lookin' for that squirrel.
Yeah, Joe's are probably right! I've had a Sharpie zero in on my bird feeder a few times this spring. Doesn't stay long enough for a photo shoot, though!! At least, I'm not out there at the right time!
