The blogger gods are smiling upon me...

Well, once again the line from "The Three Amigos" movie comes to mind:  "Would you say I have a plethora of presents?!"

Today I went to the mailbox and saw Santa had left a sack o' goodies for me at the gate (actually, the postman had put 3 packages into one garbage sack and lobbed it over the locked gate).

First:  I won my choice of a matted 8x10 photograph from Elise at One Woman, Reinvented.  After perusing all of her wonderful photos, I couldn't help myself.  I had to choose the one that screamed Texas, my homelife.  Beef cow, 2 calves in the grasses, bird on the fenceline.  It just called my name... TEX

Second:  I won maple syrup from Judy at daily yarns 'n more.  Sweet maple syrup harvested from their property in Wisconsin, my homeland.  WIS

Third:  I won a jar of  "kisses and ass smacks strawberry banana jam" from LB at Bullets and Biscuits.  Good golly, bring on the fresh baked rolls!!!  GIRL!
(don't you love the little heart the reflection made?)
Honestly, does life get any better than this?!  Living in Bloggerville definitely has its rewards!!!  Thank you, dear ladies, for your gifts!
Sweet, Sweet, Sweet!

So you aren't the only one gifting through their blog? I had no idea. That is really neat. But the mailman just tosses your packages over the fence? In a garabge bag no less? Things sure are done differently in Texas. What, is he afraid of the hounds?

Niiiiice! Especially the maple syrup from WI. We used to make our own when we lived there, and nothing could ever compare.

oh and don't ya just love how the UPS guy and FedEX just throw our stuff and I mean throw it over the fence. Sometimes I want to put a sign out there that says, IT MIGHT BE BREAKABLE please sit it down gently on the ground! uggg

What a lucky girl you are! Congrats on the great loot.

wow, you hit the bloggerlotto!! send me the syrup.... I love maple syrup YUM and what if the syrup broke when he/she lobbed it over the fence??? once the USPS delivered a 500 dollar camera. he sat it in our driveway, up against the big garage door, and at 5 am when hubby backed his truck out, he felt something crunch and he had backed over the camera. i had ordered it from walmart, and when i called they said bring the crushed camera to the store and they will refund your money and you can order another one. i was leaving the next day on vacation and wanted the camera, so i took my said story to Staples and they honored the walmart price and i walked out with the camera. so the USPS man cost WM 500 dollar sale.
