They may be annoying at times but ya gotta lov their antics!
These guys are eating me out of house and home!!!
cute little guy!
As long as they are in YOUR yard, I won't ever tire of them. ;)
Not yet, but if you were to throw in some Texas BBQ I would never tire of them.
I think he wants a corn cob feeder.
Nope, keep 'em coming!
and heavy balled. OMG. I didn't realize they were that big.Keep the pics coming!!!
Hi Texwisgirl, I like seeing squirrels in person and on people's blogs so your posts are welcomed. Funny squirrels. So sorry your squirrels have joined the "Lets eat bird seed out of the bird feeder" club. Mine are champs! Have a great day today!
amazing photos ..they look so cool..Just your everyday sqirrely-dudes , but it is so interesting to see them so close up Thanks for sharing these shots! CoolKAT
wow, that's a lot of squirrely pictures :)
For the love of Pete...have you been feeding the tree rats Viagra? :-)The "S" squirrel looks like he's imitating a cobra. And I like the third shot up from the bottom - that tail is completely flat on the back.
Always love seeing your cuties.Costas
Lovely captures of your squirrels.
Great shots! I still can't believe those guys can FIT into that feeder!
I'm not tired of them, they are such entertaining acrobats :)I thought it was only us Brits who called Potatoes spuds! It looks very filling! Tasty though.I wouldn't miss that daily commute one bit, I don't like built up areas. Give me the countryside any day :)Sweet little Cowbird! But an even sweeter Thelma Jean, what a darling, darling girl she is.
I really like Squirls, they are very nice =)
They're so pretty. And silly.
your picture never cease to amaze me
May I suggest an electric wire?
How about a combination of these last two posts? Texas BBQ'd squirrel.Just a thought.
your squirrels are so very much more handsome than our skinny little dudes. yours have big bushy tails, our have thin wispy tails. great shots and you know i like the ones doing the acrobatic things
oooh, I reached squirrel overload MONTHS ago... they empty my feeders DAILY!!!!.... UGH!!!!... and I don't have the heart to shoot them. I've had offers, can't bring myself to let anyone do it!
Bright-eyed, bushy tailed and cute as all getouts! Who has more squirrels, you or me?
You've gotta love squirrels...at least just a little. They have so much character. :)
As much as they can be a nuisance, they are so darn cute they get away with it.
We were laughing at the squirrels this weekend. They seem to be on hyper overdrive over here right now. We had a dozen of the little rascals right in the front yard by the porch playing the biggest game of tag yesterday morning. It was a hoot.
I also think that squirrels are cute and enjoy seeing pictures of them, but I didn't think that a few years ago when the whole Skippy Squirrel family was living in my attic....
I love how he looks when his little hands are up to his mouth. Sweet!
You got lovely squirrels. Well done! Have a nice week to you.Hilda
Squirrel overload? Never. Well maybe when it's nap time. Love those guys, great pics.
Was that just one squirrel. My lord, he can eat! :)
LOL! No, not yet! I love watching the little vermins! blessings ~ Tanna
i think we have a hanging "package" in picture #13 & a slight heart in his butt cheeks!!!i sure do hope that bird feeder did not say it was squirrel proof when you purchased it, like they all do!!!#10 was a favoite, he is a busy guy!!
so cute!!! love this "S" series!
I love the little squirrels!
How cute this little creature is! I will be never tired of looking at it holding and eating food. Very adorable shots!Have a nice day!
You must have a name for him by now. We are getting very acquainted.
I have noticed that we follow many of the same blogs and I wanted to drop by and say "hi." We had lots of squirrels at our last yard which was wooded and secluded. Now we are in a subdivision with hardly any trees and we don't have the little acrobats!!! Your photos are very cute. Hope you'll visit me soon.
They do have crazy tails...
Ah heck, they're so darned cute...yah, I KNOW they eat everything in the feeders, but they're so great to watch. AND, they plant forests for us...think of all the little squirrel planted acorns that have turned into big oak trees. Thanks for this...it made me happy.Sharon Lovejoy Writes from Sunflower House and a Little Green Island
These are absolutely adorable photographs!Such a sweet little one!
The wonderdogs caught on Friday.Scared me half to death. They finally let it go, and it scampered up the tree. I hope it's okay, but I sort of wish they'd leave our neighborhood. They're very destructive.
I just love looking at their tiny hands. I enjoy seeing them scamper too.
I can never get tired of them. Specially through such great close ups.xxxPS - Thank you, T, for the explanation about the "shorty" green heron. You know your birds, don't you? I admire that tons!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Uwielbiam wiewiórki i Twoje zdjęcia. Pozdrawiam serdecznie
I think the squirrel in our yard found a friend. (Did I mention this already?) He was solitary all winter so happy to see him frolic with a frisky friend.
As long as they're in your yard No. In front of my trail cameras YES ;).
There could never be too many squirrel photos!
backwards S, or question mark? ;o)nom, nom, nom...
I just love their little hands...uh...feet...uh.....you know.
No such thing as squirrel overload. Excellent photos.
cute pics -- love the one in the bird feeder.
P R E T T Y C O L O R on that there squirrel! What a rascal. They will eat and eat, and make us frustrated, but they are cute. Our are grey, and just as reckless.
Yep, that was a lot of "squirrel" to look at!!! Cute as he is, I do get annoyed seeing them sitting on the birdfeeders every morning enjoying all the birdseed I put out for THE BIRDS!! Oh well, maybe I should just convert them to squirrel feeders and be done with it. Mickie :)
I'm still cracking up at heyBJK's comment. Oh my...need to breathe. Great shots. I love the one where it went through the hole in the feeder. And the last one where he's praying upside down is really cute, too. :)
I never tire of squirrel-watching! They're just so entertaining. :)
Apparently everyone likes squirrels..who knew? The theme on Flickr today was, yes, baby squirrels! I thought of you immediately:)Tiffany
I love them. I think I was a squirrel in another life.
Hi there - what a great set of pictures - squirrel overload? Never!I'm not sure how many people call their kids "small people" - but I have become rather attached to the phrase - even if the smalls are not as small as they once were! But I say "small people" you say "varmints" - I think I could interchange those words.Stewart M - Australia
You must have as many squirrels as I do. And they are well fed squirrels. Great photos.
Your backwards "S" could be a question mark!
such fun to watch those little guys!i love squirrels. :)hugsbetty xx
Your squirrels are a different color. Your's are a richer brown than our's and that is especially noticeable in each photo so I know it isn't in the processing. Ours are called Eastern Gray Squirrels and they are mostly shades of gray with a little reddish color around the face and on the lower legs.
Awwwwwwwwwwww, I could never get too much of these! Red Squirrels are becoming endangered in the UK because of their bigger cousins, the grey squirrels, taking over their habitat. I do miss seeing ANY squirrel now, this little island doesn't have any.. (pout)
I do love squirrel antics. They are so much fun to watch. Always busy little guys. You have captured them well.
You can never have too many squirrels!
Haha, I love these guys. Keep 'em coming!
I love squirrels, you have some great shots of them :):)
love your squirrels...ours are being cautious now...Ginger caught one...saturday Rooster caught one...
i didn't read through all the comments...but...i couldn't help notice the 'pair' dangling from the squirrel who is leaning across the branch...ALL those terrific pictures...and THAT's sticks with me...or am i seeing things...
