OMGosh, the 2nd to the last shot looks like the squirrel is hikin his leg & peeing on the tree like a dog!!! ROFLMBO!!! =) The crow doesn't look happy & I think he's cussin the squirrel, too! YiKeS!!!
guess he never heard of share and share alike. LOL
They are a right pair.
I'm rootin' for the crow...as if you didn't already know.
Well...that squirrel does look like he is taking a leak on that tree! lol
Can't we all just get along??? :@)
Crow says "What you got? Is it good to eat?"
I guess you could have had a war on your hands. I wonder who would have won?
It really does look as if the squirrel is relieving himself! LOL!Maybe the squirrel and the crow are friends and just putting on a show for you! :-)
Seriously, are crows a threat to the small squirrels? In that last picture, the squirrel does seem to be ducking. We rarely see them with their ears back. Peace on earth kids!xxxxx
To start, what a sweet, sweet picture of Louise!! Great shots of the squirrel and crowe too--Maybe it's eat and run? I hope you're having a good weekend!!
These are so funny!
Sweeeeet photos!! Especially the last one.
You have so much going on....
I think the squirrel's reaching for the pistol in his sock and telling the crow to go ahead and make his day.
Now this is cute. B
Tails and wings. I really like the shot of the crows wing fanned out.
these are great...made me laugh...
Ok, what is the deep meaning of a crow and a squirrel being side by side? There has to be some sort of farmers almanac thing about that. Ha Ha!
I have been at my place for 6 years and never really seen a crow until just a few weeks ago...now I have 3 that won't leave, not sure if they are good or bad. I had to put an owl up to scare off a woodpecker (so far so good on that front)...do I need to put a scare crow up now!
little unsociable aren't we. the crow just wanted to invited to dinner!
A squirrel and a crow...poor little guy:)Tiffany
Never seen a squirrel raise his leg like that on a tree....to pee. ha ha Well, it "looks" like that anyway. Funny.
Great images! The last time I saw an animal in that position, it was my Labrador Retriever. :)
I have to laugh at all of those thinking that squirrel was peeing on the tree. My take is that he was going through the "Should I climb? Should I run? Should I climb? Should I run?" It's such a squirrel thing to be undecided about which way to go.
yep, i was just about to say what Lois said...at first glance...yeah, the squirrel's taking a leak...marking his territory...THEN i think...squirrel's don't do that!! ok, he just can't decide...UP or DOWN? then that look on his face...his telling the crow "it's either you or me kid"...BUT he doesn't look too sure of himself!those crows can be pretty aggressive...as a group...what is that? a gaggle? oh no, that's geese...anyway...a BUNCH of crows chased an owl pair away from here!!love your pictures!
Fun series! Looks like they are dancing. ;)
That last picture of the squirrel...I just want to grab it and hold it! We passed a young one the other day, and I so wish I could have had it...even just to have it coming to the yard to watch. Which would not work out with my cats...always wish animals were all herbivores.
Such a cute series of photos!
He looks like a sprinter. Great shots! Enjoy your Sunday.
Beaut shots - loved the squirrel's reaction.
Mr. Crow better watch his six - he doesn't know who he's messing with. Ninja tree rat will bring the pain! Well, next time.
So they don't actually EAT one another, do they?
Is that squirrel cocking his leg and pissing on the tree? bwhahaha. I crack myself up sometimes ;)
