Little Louise looks happy to be taking a dip. I have a older sister named Louise. Cute photos of your doggie.

Barefoot princess. I wonder if she dances in her bare feet.
By the way, She drives the train. LOL.

Good fun around the old watering hole. Do you use your dogs for hunting? Lots of bear hunters around here use hounds.

such a cutie pie....looks like she is really enjoying her swim...

She's beautiful and I love that her name is my middle name.

She looked so cute coming up out of the water without her bathing suit on... LOL

What a sweetie pie.

Remembering a line from one of Tom T. Hall's songs, "Ain't but three things in this world worth one solitary dime - old dogs and children and watermelon wine."

Beautiful dog.

I like dogs. Middle aged are perfect but older aged ones seems to like to cuddle more.

Nothin' like a swim in the pond on a hot summer day. I think it's very cool that you have that pond, it's a wealth of photographic subjects!

Smart dog...she knows how to stay cool during a heat wave!!!

What a sweetie. She looks like she was having a great time in the water.

I think your Louise and our Misty Mae are long lost cousins.

One detail about our Misty that I think you would appreciate is the fact that she will NEVER attack any other animal - be it one of our other pets, or a strange one! We have to keep an eye on her, when another dog comes around, because it may attack her - and we would have to intervene.

Love ya!

Aw, she's pretty.

She is just so cute. She needs a pup cam so she can document her adventures.

Hi Texwisgirl, I have heard of this breed and think it is a super nice dog. You are lucky to have a pack of great pups (I call most adult dogs pups so I know these are adults). Have a wonderful day!

Ah, the glory of the joys of a water loving dog!

On our last trip a Belgian Sheep dog accompanies me on a walk along a river. He blithely walked into this fast flowing river in spate up to his shoulders just to drink.
Our Border Collie would go into any water she could find with no thought of low winter tmps. She would even climb into the stock troughs to cool off.

Great shots of your dear friend.

she looks so happy. I love that she posed for you and turned to look the other way so that you could get her "good side". I was looking at her and thinking she was older, about 10 at least because of the white hairs on her face. Glad she's younger, and make no mistake - she is beautiful.

I thought she was a lot older. I am glad she is only 71/2. She really does have a great life. All that swimming.

aaawww! she is getting gray! what a sweetie-pie! i remember when you first found your girls. then when we came to visit, i was a bit surprised over the amount of dogs wandering loose there. kind of shocking and sad. i'm surprised you've limited yourself to five, frankly. ;o)

What a nice "dog enjoying the water" shot! I like the action that follows too. Very nicely done. Thanks for the interest and comment on my current recuperation.
It's coming along....very slowly, but I'll get there. In the meantime I may run out of pictures to post! :-)

Such a neat dog! Wish I had one just like her.

She is a beauty! Our JRT (Banjo) is 9 1/2. Her brown eye "patches" started turning white at a seemingly young age also. I am just certain if my hubs sees a pic of your Louise he will want one just like her. He loves those Cur dogs! Happy dipping, sweet Louise!! -Tammy

I bet she's one of your fabulous snake catchers.
What a wonderful space you have that your 'pups' can have a cool dip whenever they like.

Happy day!

Louise is a perfect model and knows how to stay cool which means she has not only looks but brains, too!

The horror of it! I can't imagine what could ever make someone actually get wet like that!

Rose said...

It strikes me that they must like water...do they want in it all the time or just because it is hot?
