My pretty copper penny in the morning sun

Yes, that is dried sweat and dirt on Zim's back.
No, I did not brush him last night.
Yes, it is summer.  It is hot.  It is Texas.

He is a very beautiful and lean looking animal. So you have to brush him each evening? I don't do that even with Sinbad, and he does love to be brushed. I am a bad cat owner, but he still loves me dispite my short comings.

You could not have picked a more perfect title for your post, dear T. Sweet copper penny... wonderful!

The first picture is surprisingly gorgeous. The second is as tender as can be. The third, with that thing in Zim's mouth, and him looking at something that called his attention, my friend, these are a treasure!

If you put ketchup on a dirty penny...it makes it shiny. I wonder if that will work on Zim? I think it will...and you should try it and send me pictures of THAT! ;)
