She is lovely, rather elegant I think! There are no birds in my garden tall enough to drink from the birdbath while standing on the ground! Louis (our dog) can/does though ;)Love that 'flying pig' below. What a nice man to give it to you and make your day, it would have made mine too.
Every picture is beautiful... she is simply lovely!
Wow, she's a beauty. Love her beautiful dark eyes.
How in the world can you get just clear, crisp closeups??? Are you a personal friend?!?!?!...:)JP
Pretty girl indeed!
I like her... and how nice that the water fountain is at just the right height for her!Di
Priscilla is precious...
Those are a great set. Wonderful close-ups where we can really study the fine details of her. Also, I got an early Father's Day gift yesterday. Mr. Squirrel now has a new home! It truly was a wonderful day yesterday.
She is very pretty!
How pretty Priscilla is. I've never seen a bird like that around here. She's so cute
Priscilla makes me smile :)))
She is stunning and so are these pictures!
More of my cuties, love these shots. Especially the capture of the water dripping. Thanks for sharing. You know I just love these ducks.
Nice! That birdbath is just the right height for her!
in one of these she is SMILING she really is, yum good clean water not that yucky pond stuff she swims in. the one with the beak in like a straw is totally way cool.
I've been playing catch up this morning. Love Elvis and Priscilla. lol The Painted Bunting is gorgeous. The Play Squirrel, hilarious! Good call.
She is a pretty one...great series of shots. You have so many photo ops right in your own backyard!
I can see why Elvis would fall for her. She is quite an elegant beauty.Teresa
He is very nice =)
What a nice blog you have. Pricilla is quite the duck!!! Your photos of her are so clear and sharp--great pics. Mickie :)
That birdbath is just her size! She is SO pretty.
This duck looks like it's feathers are painted on. So very pretty!
Love these! What a great series of shots! And the 'duck bath' is perfect! Pretty Priscilla!
Fun series! My hubs said a box from you came from me but I won't be home until Sunday to get it. Can't wait!Enjoy the weekend.
I love the photos, but I have to comment on that bird bath, waterer. I could never have one that low (cats,) but it's such a great idea for ducks. :)
A fine near-time-lapse series showing this bird's drinking ability. Fine, detailed shots!
I find it hilarious that with an entire POND, she drinks from a bird bath! :)
Oh my goodness.I love that shot where you can see the depression in the water and the drops falling from her bill. That is gorgeous.
She is a gorgeous one! Have a wonderful weekend:)
Prissy has a pretty profile. :)
She is a beauty:)Great pictures from you again:)Have a nice weekend:)
What a wonderful set of photos! I've never seen a whistling duck before. Your images are worthy of being framed. She's beautiful! What wonderful captures! Is she oaky with your presence or do you have a blind?
great pic's!!! she's so pretty...oh so pretty...oh no, did i really just say that! she looks like a Priscilla!! C U T E!!
These are such pretty birds and that birdbath is just the right height for her to get a drink.
Hey you, love your blog and always look forward to seeing what you see. I like # 3 with beak in water and # 10 with the drip from beak!!!! What a great bird. Today I am going to post what I saw out my bedroom window as I lay in bed with coffee trying to wake up. Doing more of what you suggested. Thank you!
Texwis she is absolutely gorgeous, what a precious princess! Lucky you to have her there to look at all the time.Tina xo

Priscilla is absolutely a beauty!i love those birds!!brilliant pictures and lovely colours!betty xx
Oh, bless her heart. I love the photo of her drinking the water and I also adore the close up. She has lovely eyes!sweet sweet thing...
Great series. The duck looks so domesticated here.
Geez, I thought it was because she was such an elegant drinker, not because she's hanging around with an older guy!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
What great shots, love them.
Priscilla is a doll. Her feathers are so smoothly set that it looks like velvet. I love the name you gave to her. Very feminine, delicate.xxxxxx
Aw, she is so pretty, and how wonderful you captured her getting a drink of water...so sweet!
She seems so comfortable with you taking pictures of her...are you sure you didn't hire her to pose? LOL Wonderful shots...
i love that girl !!
T, she is very pretty! It's funny that she walked over to the bird bath to have a drink. Must taste better than pond water!
Priscilla is beautiful. And your photographs of her great.Have a beautiful weekend too.Costas
Oh, to have that much space for all the wildlife. Priscilla looks almost painted....everything about her is so neat and "deliberate." (does that make sense?)
gosh, I don't think I could ever tire of looking at that gorgeous color of beak. she's a beauty. great series of photos.
Prissy seems to be hittin' that fountain pretty hard. You sure you only put water in there?
She is a gem and you have captured her beautifully.
Hi Texwisgirl, Well, she does look like her name and also looks incredibly happy! Have a great day today!
Not afraid of a thing, totally regal and in control of her surroundings. I love how she drinks the water!
She's a beauty; and so dainty.
Well I have one of those bird baths, but nothing that pretty to drink out of it! So nice!
She's a sweetie! We have a small fountain near the house that attracts small birds to drink, but nothing this beautiful.
What a pretty duck! I haven't seen that type around here. Any extras about? Send a few north of the Red River.
She knows where to go to get a drink!
Priscilla is such a beauty and very dainty when taking a drink. I do wish we had the Whistling ducks in the wild in this area. I really liked your post of the dogs and their bones.
Priscilla is a beautiful lady!
She is magnificent with beautiful markings. Great series!
