Blue Heron Ballet!
The video for that song was filmed right by where I used to live and you can see the laundromat we used in the background. Your pictures are nicer than the video, but it is an apt choice of song.
When I read the title that song immediately popped into my head. Now I'll be singing that all night... thanks for that! Just kidding!Great pics!
That 'straight on' shot where her face blends in with her neck is hilarious. Love ZZ Great pics.BlessYourHeart
she is a beautiful girl and she does have very nice legs! I know the song well. I worked for Leggs Hosiery for awhile and every time someone saw my name tag they started singing that song. I still like it however. :)
I always find nice birds in your blog, i love itHave a nice weekend,Regards
We used to sing that song about my little sister when she was a baby learning how to walk. Lol!

Looks like she has an audience in the first shot.
What a great series of pics. I love the baby turtles also.
She does know how to use them! lol Loved the pictures and the sunning turtles on the log!Have a Great Day!Angela
She most certainly does have legs...and a neck too!! Love the ZZ Top song and the video too. I think it's on YouTube somewhere.Di
Great song, great bird, great pictures as always!
WHAT a beautiful bird~! I love it.I also like the turtles sunning themselves. I enjoy seeing herons and also watching them fly. They do have long legs~!Have a great Fathers Day~! ta ta for now from Iowa:)
Gosh I was behind in your pictures. I think that is great you named that duck Priscilla. I named a rooster and a hen Elvis and Priscilla too. You have the most amazing birds that visit your pond. I really like your metal sculptures and I love that Gazebo. I am going to show it to my husband as he wants to kick my chickens out and put one in, I like that one a whole lot.The pig is so cute. Those are huge bones. When I first saw them I couldn't figure out if maybe you have a dinosaur dead somewhere. It all looks so great.
i love these pictures!!!i have heard we have herons here on the jersey shore....so now i have a mission, trying to find and photograph one!!have i mentioned how lucky you are to live on a pond?!?! you get the best visitors!!!

It's amazing that those tiny legs can hold up all that weight! Well, what appears to be a lot of weight -perhaps she's all feathers!
What a beauty!
looks like she's enjoying having her pictures taken.what a lovely bird!betty xx
I must be 'cause I was singing the next line before I read it. : )Great captures. Our heron is going to elude me forever. I just know it. But I can live with that!
What a great series. You must have been pretty still to be ignored while shooting all these images. :) Very nice.
Great shots! What a cooperative bird!
She does have very nice legs. If you've got 'em, flaunt 'em.
I can imagine all the guys making cat calls and whistling at her.Teresa
I don't know the song but will search for it, just to "feel" the theme of this series. She is as elegant as my mother wanted me to be - no luck in my case, though.xxxxxxxxxx
ZZ Top fan in this corner...excellent use of that line.
