Squirrels vs. Dogs

Baron and BB watch and wait.

This little guy tempts fate!

It was close, but the squirrel won this round!

Fabulous!

Your glossy boys of gorgeousness could be the less hirsute version of my Luke!

Thank you for sharing this little snippet of your day.

Can you send them over? I have a baby rabbit sneaking into my garden. I think they'd have a good shot. My lazy border collie won't chase rabbits - he goes for the easy route - stealing eggs from the henhouse (sigh)

Lovely, fun photos :) They are such beautiful dogs!!

My Louis sits at the bottom of our Apple Tree gazing up like that but he is trying to work out how to climb the tree to get at the bird's suet treats ;)

I enjoyed catching up again and particularly like the 'Reddy-made friends' and 'Birds in Technicolor' posts.

Love the pic of the squirrel laying on the branch:@)

This cat we got likes to chatter at the squirrels and jump at them but stops short at the screen.

The dogs probably enjoy this routine as much as the squirrel.

Baron and BB look so sleek and regal on their post. One of these days...they're gonna get that old critter!

Fun post and photos for the day! The squirrels are cute little buggers, but they can be a pain in the whatever when they're stealing food from the bird feeders! Your dogs are beautiful! Hope you have a great day!

That is a great "real life" series of this interesting confrontation between squirrel and dogs. Fine action shot to show us the action.

I love when the squirrels lay as flat as they can. He's sending mind-waves to the dogs that they can't see him now!

Great shots! And the dogs are beautiful!

So much entertainment out on your ranch! My favorite photo has to be the 2nd one with the two labs looking expectantly up towards the treetops. All are great photos, though.

Ahhh, our Lab Molly used to do that too. But now she's old and has either lost interest or can't see them.

Beautiful dogs, obviously well cared for. I hope they all live to play chase another day.

What a relief! I'm rooting for the squirrel!

Ha! They usually do. They're smart little things. :)

I hope that little critter don't get squirrely and think he can run down that tree unnoticed! :)

Good shots!

Kerry said...

Ha! One of these days, one of these days. Your boys will come even closer to getting that little rascal. But if I had to lay a bet, I would always bet on the squirrel.

The squirrel seems to be contemplating ways to annoy the dogs even more. Our squirrels love to tease my cats.
