I love sunflowers. They are so tall and gangly, full of color and intricate design---and the seeds that flow from them are of biblical proportions.

I loooove sunflowers. We participated in a bee count that involved sunflowers. You had to sit for 30 minutes and count the bees that come to one sunflower. You then log onto this site and add your numbers. It's to see what is happening to the bee populations. Maybe you might like to try it. You take such beautiful pics. I can't remember the site though.

It is summer already! Nothing like sunflowers to bring that feeling. We plant them also and the squirrels have a feast during winter.

I love the pictures!

I love sunflowers, with their happy faces tilted toward the sun. I would plant some, but if I put anything more in the ground for DH to mow around, I may be in bigger trouble!

T, aren't they just gorgeous! I love Sunflowers! I think the ones growing around here are probably only inches out of the ground right now.
A beautiful sunny day here today!!

That happened here once, too. The human wasn't too happy when we ate the big flowers, but they were very yummy!

Great flowers, so early! I guess your early heat has helped these pop up.

Nature's perfect and intricate pattern in the center of those flowers is just stunning! And you did a great job in capturing the detail.
We had a 30 minute rain here today we were doing the happy dance!

Ok, checking in on you today I boldly see SUNFLOWERS! Nice seed, a beauty of a flower and it happens to be my favorite. I can't seem to grow them where I live now, But will never tire of seeing them anywhere. What a nice thing to see especially today while the rain and wind continues.

Oh, I LOOOOOOOOOVE sunflowers, my sweet Sam has slept with a cloth sunflower since he was a baby (it's very tattered and torn now, but he still has it). Sunflowers always remind me of him!

I love your sunflowers. They are one of my favorite flowers and sadly I didn't get any planted this year. I only have a few random ones that came up voluntarily.

Sunflowers make me smile. Always. I bought 3 containers from the nursery last weekend. My male dogs keep peeing on them and now they're near death. I thought they were supposed to be pretty hardy plants! :/

My father loved sunflowers and grew them every summer. Whenever I see them I think of him. He was a terrific human and it's great to be reminded. Thanks for these beautiful photos of these great flowers!
