Cool old barn. I love that first shot with the fence in the foreground.
I like the first one best, with the sky and the field and the fence. More charming :-)
Yes, I prefer the first picture also. Looks very peaceful!
I absolutely love the first photo! The colors, the serenity... gorgeous!
HI Teresa...There something about a barn that has charm!! Nice ..Grace
That one is just carefully tucked away at the side of the field, isn't it. Nice.
Charming indeed! LOVE old barns, homestead shacks, etc.
I think I'll head out & take a few shots of the barn here in the Hollow. I don't think I'll have one in CT...:)JP
It's a wonderful barn, full of character. Do you know what kind of critters live there? Or, am I being dumb and it's your barn?
Love the rust and gold tones, but I especially love the barbed wire fence in the first shot
Looks ike a lovely place to just go and hide in with a favourite book... The woods behind look wonderful...
ooooohhhhh t, that's a real charmer, getting a big hug from the landscape!!!!i'm glad you included both, LOVE them!!
Oh, yes, I do agree with Debbie. I would want to see the close up too! These are great fotos! The lush of the forest behind it calls my attention - inspite of all the heat, it seems green and healthy.Keep cool, my dear. It is 105 degrees in the shade here... ouch!Love ya!
That first photo belongs on the front of a barns calendar. It's perfect. Just perfect.

Charming Barn! and we've got THUNDER tonight... could it be... RAIN TOO??.... Is this where your horses reside? Tour!
I like grey barns. The clouds were cool too.
Charming in a rustic sort of way. I like it.

Great barn shots! I love that it's nestled in the trees so nicely!
Love old barns...so much character!
Someone kept it up compared to the old barns around here except the rusty roof that gives it the charm.
I love barns! One day I'm going to make a coffee table book of barns. It's a good thing! :)
I love barns. I like that one with its tin roof.
Nice old barn! Hope there was some rain in those clouds for you!
If I had a barn like that ~ I would fill it with cats!! :)xo Catherine
awesome barn...I love barns
I love that first shot with the dark sky and the fence!
I like the sense of perspective in the first one. I had a brilliant idea to photograph all the barns within, say, 5 miles of my home and I quickly realized that there are about a bazillion (give or take a couple of million), so I gave up. Maybe I need to reduce the scope :-)
cool old barn, but that roof has too much rust to be from texas, it must of been imported from a cold wet state
A wonderful barn tucked in there. :-)NoteworthyMusings
I love pictures of old barns. I try to take pictures of every old barn I see.
I really like this one. Needs a little more color.
Ive been running like crazy and had company for days. Id like a sweet hideaway tucked away like that!
Lovely shot, such a peaceful quiet setting.
You have so many various different charms around you! I like the old barn which has been through natural progression like decay or rust.
great shot of barn..
Great shots. I think there is a universal appeal in barns. blessings ~ tanna
Stately looking barn...I like it!!!
You have a very charming barn...
to you this might be typical Texas scenery but to my eyes, it's exquisite. the light, the colors of the grass. oh yeah, the barn is pretty darn charming too. that first photo belongs on my wall. :)
Great barn shots!
Oh yes...it has charm.
I love that first shot. Just something about that fence being there appeals to me.
Your just don't see barn like this in Las Vegas.. Great shots..
Barns fascinate me - beautiful!
I love old barns. This one does have a lot of charm.
I like this! Very nice! You should do more scenics/landscapes, T. I bet there's a lot of interesting stuff you could find to photograph.
Ahhhhhhhh, pure balsm for the soul - you truly do live in an enchanting place - all those big, wide skies, and expansive, lush horizons - oh, and gorgeous barns, too!
Hi there - very good pictures - I think I like the second one best - seems to have more depth about it - says something about the scale of the land around it (I think!)Also - great owl shots on the last post.Cheers Stewart M - Australia
Is it in that barn were the guy with the "Hubble Telescope" is hiding? :)
There is another one of those fences I wish I could find up here. Daughter is going back to Dallas for a Kid Rock concert over Labor Day weekend. I've promised to go this time, but it will be too late for fences by then. Fence shot will be due in mid August. I really like the tall grass and the barn in the distance. Nice shot!
MUst be a large ranch with tons of acres of all around the barn. :)
the first is my favorite, with the fencing, i always love fencing! i would be afraid to walk through that field though!
What a beautiful place, and great pictures of it:)
Beautiful barn. I love the charm of a barn.
I like that shot across the field with the fence in the foreground!
The top photo is absolutely perfect! It could only be better if their was a bird sitting on the fence wire. :)
Beautiful barn, i like barns, gives me the idea of field, tranquility.
I'm on Tricia's barn tour and loving your barn photos! Thanks for sharing.
