T, great barn. That's one big roof!
Bet it's hot inside there!

Jill said...

Charming indeed!

Louise said...

Mmmmm, I wonder if it's full of the sweet smell of hay?

EG Wow said...

Looks like a BIG barn with a shallow roof, which here would collect snow and collapse under it, I'm afraid. But I guess you don't get a lot of snow in Texas. :)

Kathy said...

That is a HUGE roof. That barn must have a heck of a loft!

Barns are worth driving out of the way, for. When I used to drive from Montana to Minneapolis, I'd take the back roads through the Dakotas so I could photograph barns. You are soooo lucky to have such a great barn.

That one sure covers a lot of space.

Nice barn but my eye went to the clouds, and still no rain.

Hi Texwisgirl, Nice barn shots! I really enjoy seeing people's barns. I don't know why but I just do. Here in Tennessee, we have a tourism-related program where some people will paint the side of their barn or the roof of the barn in a quilt pattern. Quite interesting and colorful. There is a sort of guide to this program and tourists can follow certain routes to see these barns. Have a great evening and a hopefully cooler day tomorrow. I will do a virtual rain dance and also send up a prayer for a few drops for y'all!

Nice sized barn! So do you have two barns? One gray?

Tammy said...

Great looking barn. I love the roof line.

Clint said...

Fast forward to late October---if you haven't ever cooked out at night and slept in a barn afterward, preferably when you got rain on the tin roof at 2:00 AM....now, THAT is livin'!

But don't try it in August. Ha.

Ruta said...

Big and beautiful. It seems like the bard is quite old, judging from the walls and roof, but at the same time, it is standing tall and standing strong. Maintenance should keep it like that for years and years.
