Blogging Gifts!

Whoever said blogging doesn't pay?  I've not only connected with some pretty great folks in this cyberworld, but I've also scored my share of swag in the form of giveaways and gifts.  My latest gift comes from North, a blogger I've only known for a little while.  Lo and behold, after he did this post, and I mentioned how much I admired his latest works (aka I wanted one!), he offered his tying services, and even asked me for my measurements (wrist, people!) and color preference!  I got my little package in the mail, and he even threw in some cool key chain fobs!
These are made from really tightly tied paracord.
I am now sporting my very own camouflage paracord bracelet.
Look closely - you might not be able to see my hand since it's in camo!  I totally blend into the landscape now!  :)

Go check out North's blog.  He's a clever, gun-toting fellow with a sense of humor.  He also does a great feature called Wednesday's Whiteboard Words of Wisdom (W-W-WoW).

Thanks for your kindness, North!!!  You rock!

I saw a movie last week, the the knock down kill them all hero had a watch with a band just like this, he could unwind it when he needed strong cords. he unwound it and used it to climb down a mountain. if you decide to try to rappell off your roof, get the video set up.
cool and takes talent to make one

I really like those, I would sport a red one myself. They should consider an etsy store. :-) I'd buy one.

A lovely gift to receive and shown off to perfection... not the hands of a working girl (sorry that sounds wrong... I will try again)... Not the hands of a girl who builds barricades to keep her horses in order... Lol

Wow what a gift! Nice, and you have fingernails! For a lady on the ranch doing all you do I am impressed. My nails are very short. Gifts are neat when they are practical, and you are a practical one. What are you going to do with all of them?

heyBJK said...

Nice paracord bracelet! I have several myself. If you ever find yourself in a Man vs. Wild situation, you can unravel the bracelet and rappel down the cliff. ;-)

SquirrelQueen said...

That was nice of him to make this for you, it is a really cool bracelet.
