Nope, not jays and cardinals this time.  Bluebirds and house finches.

Well hello, Mr. Bluebird, you handsome devil!
Love that last picture~ that gives new meaning to "turn tail and run" (or in this case, fly)! *hehe*

Bluebirds are so cute! They usually have that "mad" look, but this one actually looks pretty happy. :)

Hi there - glad to see my mind is playing tricks!

I have to laugh about your post (its nothing to do with the pictures or text!) - but go have a look what I have just posted on my blog.

I clicked submit for my blog - then looked at my email, found your reply and had a look at your pots - coincidence or what!

Cheers Stewart M

Posers for your next drawings. Bluebirds are always ready for a good pic. The finch has some real competition going on there. Nice pics T.

Cute bluebird. I especially like the second shot! I saw one of these last night down by our garden, but he was high up on a wire and refused to come down.

thanks for helping me jump start my procrastinating hubby. i brought him here today to see that squirrel in the bird bath, so he got to see this little beauty and the cardinal and i have been bugging him to move our bird bath in the front yard. we have a big heavy one, but birds don't come to it becaue we have dogs in the yard that do not like birds. when he saw the birds and squirrel, he said maybe i should move the birdbath to the front yard. the good thing is, where i am sitting right now with the tv on and laptop in lap, i could see it out the window. will let you know IF and When he does it.

Sweetness! I love bluebirds! You have a VERY busy birdbath with so many colorful birds stopping by for a sip and or a dip. With this heat, our birdbaths have been especially popular too. Beautiful series of photographs!

Blue birds and House Finches, now those we have. The Blue Birds do not come to the feeders though. Maybe they don't like to compete with everyone else.

Wish we had bluebirds. My daughter had one years ago when she lived on the northside of San Antonio. It would come to her deck to eat and drink.
