Oh good am I first to comment. Love these shots - looks like they are playing ring a ring of roses and dancing in a circle. Lovely wee birds.
wonderful photos, i love the buntings, hopefully i see one sometime soon :)dan
I am addicted to seeing the painted buntings!! Love 'em!
Love the coloring of the Bunting.
Poor cardinals. Looks like all our attention is on the bunting.
They are all fun shots. Love the one coming in for a landing, and the buntings of course. We just don't have a colorful bird like them around here.
Such colorful birds you have to watch! We have cardinals, but that's about all the red we get in our yard. :-(
The bunting steals the show. Wonderful shots T.
nature at its best....great job girl...
Very colorful and I enjoy the bunting but also love cardinals. We have a family of cardinals here and in the winter they look so nice against the snow.
Your captures are so colorful~~~I've been looking for good coloration of the cardinals...will eventually show you why.Love theseBlessYourHeart
How fun! You have such a nice variety of birds! And of course the painted bunting is always a delight to see since I've never had the opportunity to see one in person!
Looks like a busy morning at your house! Seems everyone is there!
Nice shots. The Painted Buntings you take pictures of....gorgeous! Not so say any less of the Cardinal....
I quite like the pictures of the birds in the grass, they look so industrious!
Hmmm. Maybe I should bring my cats over for a peek at your pictures today ;-) They'd probably get all excited!
Lovely, colorful flock!
love them ALL the whole hodgepodge is adorable. BUT my favorite is the crayola box hiding in plain sight in the grass.
I just love all the colors you capture. Wonderful birds and images.
You're right. Lovely photos.
I've decided your yard is like a rainbow on the ground!
Beaut shots. Pretty birds :D)
For all of us living afar -- what species are they? We don't have those here. Very pretty.
Love the bird shots! On my hikes it's very difficult to get good bird picutres. They always flit away before I can get focused!
It is amazing how colorful they are!
beautiful t.....everyone sharing, everyone getting along!!!the bunting, the obvious favorite but your male finches are gorgeous as well!!
You have such an awesome mix and variety there!Amazing!
That painted bunting takes my breath every time. That is the most amazing bird....Love your artsy photos!
Great shots, T. I love watching them as they eat and all the interaction that occurs. Can't help watching at my place, all right outside my window! When my blue jays come, everyone leaves!
You're so lucky to have such a variety of birds. You almost got a full shot of the one landing in the second photo.
Ohhhh...those painted buntings...love love them!!!
They are very artsy, and, very entertaining. I see your cardinals can be as angry looking as mine. But, don't all of the birds bring so much joy?
Cardinals and Sparrows are my back yard birds, also. Your bird series is just great.
I was just passing through and popping on blogs that I've never been on before. So greetings folks from Lebanon county's Amish community. Richard
You know I love those painted buntings...and there is something about these shots....I think they look real maybe? It is almost as if you were visiting a bird town and just snapping pictures here and there.
Still marveling at the variety you get! I love the 2nd shot with the one bird coming in for a landing.
I always love your bird shots and I've never seen a painted bunting before! What a delightful, colorful little guy he is! Great ones for the day! Enjoy!Sylvia
I always enjoy your photographs, all of the time. I do love that bunting.
A fine series of bird shots. I like how the birds seem to cooperate with each other. Nice variety is colors and kinds of birds too. Well done.
such colour in those little birds
They are all cute, colorful and beautiful.Costas
You captured them beautifully as usual Teresa. Love the colours!
Chciałabym zobaczyć coś takiego na własne oczy. Pozdrawiam
Second picture down....you got a bird comin' in hot! :-) The cardinals and buntings are around to provide color. I guess they're finishing off what Zim didn't? LOL
Yes, the incoming bird is neat. You already know how I feel about the kaleidoscope bird.
They have nice colors and looks like they are very busy in the morning. Very cute picture series.
That painted bunting is my all time fave! Wish he'd come north to visit me!
T, you have such a lovely variety of birds!
I love your birdies hopping to and fro, the bunting was a rare sight to me.
Hi Teresa...sure have a lot of color going on there ...I love the colors of that bunting..it almost doesn't seem real!!
Dumb questions - do they have buntings in Georgia - I have never seen one and I look out all the time!
such colorful activity! :o)
Mr. Bunting sticks out like a sore thumb, poor thing!(Yes, I know you posted that just for my benefit, didn't you? *grin*)
Look at those colors! Great hodgepodge of shots!
Pretty is as pretty does as they used to say. You reminded me I need to fill my bird feeders but I won't see anything this pretty but I like the birds anyway.
Lots of color!
I like your "hodgepodge" bird photos!
I wish my hodgepodge was as colourful....beautiful birds.
the red shouldered hawk was back today perched on the top rail of the chain link fence that encloses the little back yard.
Love the colorful " hodgepodge". The painted bunting's colors are so brilliant against the terrain. I think they are having some kind of hen party!
I love your Painted Bunting, I would love to see them in my yard. Can you send one my way? Awesome photos.
Love your hodgepodge birdies.. That bunting makes my heart beat faster... Wow!!!!Hugs,Betsy
Boy they sure have found something interesting to eat!
So many sweet little birds!
Who called the meeting? Love to see birds of a different feather getting along. Even if just for a little while.
They are all so pretty.
And a lovely hodge podge it is, with the touch of red on all the birds culminating in that beautiful bunting! He is gorgeous.
I envy you those Painted Buntings and Cardinals! Maybe someday . . .
These are beautiful. Love the one with the blue head
I love your pictures...*thumbup*
I just can't get over those painted buntings!
I'm finally getting a chance to comment! I look at a lot of your posts on my iPhone, but it's not very easy to comment that way, so I usually wait for more time at the computer. So glad you shared all these shots -- It's just like standing in your yard enjoying watching the birds hop around and hunt bugs!We don't have buntings, so I especially enjoy seeing their beautiful colors. The buntings and cardinals really stand out against the dry and brownish landscape!
