Ah - probably not so much for me!

We have a massive issue with cane toads in Australia and the sight of this big girl is truly enough to make the goosebumps pop on my arms.

Loving your love of nature though.

xx Felicity

Umm...adorable? I'll get back to you on that. ;) Great capture though. First the bones, then the turtle shells, now the toad. Yep, everything must be bigger in Texas. Look at the size of that guy! :)

I love toads. When we would find them on the farm as kids my Mom and Dad would always tell us to put them in the garden, they said they were 'good helpers.' We found an itty bitty one yesterday and tucked him into our garden.

Cindy said...

bon bon said...

ha! wow, that is the roundest animal i've ever seen. (and you know my cat.) you could use her for some type of dial or spinner. find some more and replace all your door knobs. *snort*

Candy C. said...

TWG,
Make sure it isn't a Colorado River Toad as they can make your dogs sick or even die if they lick them or try to pick them up. The toads secrete some type of poison as a defensive mechanism. We have BIG problems with them around here.

Montanagirl said...

That's one big Toad! Glad you showed pictures with your hand in it...He didn't look nearly that big until you did that!
