The little guy appears to be giving you a dirty look, like "Hey, quit taking pictures of my butt". The small hay-bale, on the other hand, is indifferent.
Wow, that is a dirty look he's giving you! Ha...a cute little bale of hay! Uh-oh now I'm going to have that Seasame Street song playing in my head...
I love the bay round bale. The pony was saying, move along, I'm eating here!!
Wow, that is some look he is giving you. LOL.
Looks like one of them neglected to eat their porridge.
ha ha I love it....I've been seeing a lot of Sesame Street lately...I thought the same thing....
yes, it looks like the little one was giving you the stink eye all right. Too cute! Happy Wednesday
Totally adorable, what a beautiful day in your neck of the woods, love Posie
Oh cute! That little hay bale cracks me up :-)
It's always the little ones:@)
Beautiful horses!! Love the connection of the pictures too. Very cute!
a pony sized hay bale, how cute is that. love the look over the shoulder at the crazy lady with the camera. a first for me to see the fencing holding the bale together. great idea, they can just pull it out the holes and it keeps from scattering it every where.
But how cute are they?
Knowing the need for hay right now, it does look like that little guy is saying "this is mine, go on down the road". Good picture!
um....if looks could kill.fun post today!!...wait, they're all fun!!!
I sing that song all the time! Love it. Yes one of these things is not like the other. One of these things just doesn't belong.
Fat, shiny equines there! So gorgeous!LOVE that dirty look.
You put that together just right...LOL.
I have seen the miniature square bales...now I have seen the litttle rounds!
Haha ~ that bale is indeed just the right size for that wee little pony ~ cute!xo Catherine
"I KNOW MY BUTT'S FAT.... SO WHAT!!"
cute little pony...how nice to have a hale bale just his size!
Cute! Taunting me with those fences, aren't you? lol
I can only imagine how I would feel if I were outside naked, eating my lunch, and some person with an insatiable camera kept trying to get a Kodak moment of me.
That is the second time in 12 hours that I have heard reference to that song.......... how do I get it out of my head?
They are adorable, and these shots are great!
Surprise!!! Those hay bales were always there but it took your sharp eye to make the comparison. Munch away oh ye with our own fly swatters. Manzanita@Wannabuyaduck
I like the miniature bale or roll. I don't see hay bales anymore. They are all rolled up like these. I never saw a small one like this. Maybe for that small horse?
He is certainly a tiny little guy! Thank goodness their owners got them some hay. I know that hay for pasture horses n the summer isn't usually a necessity but with the drought it's essential!
So funny! I love 'Woody's comment!
A fun post, indeed.
Ha, thanks for the morning chuckle :) Very cute post!
How cute was that! The little guy was sure giving you the "what for" look!
Now you got me wondering if we could market the left over small rolls to small pony farms! LolCute pics!
I'm always amazed that children gravitate to the person closest in age to them. This may have to do with size. So cute! :) Love seeing the world through your/his eyes.
Haha! Only you would make that connection. ;)
I can relate to his attitude!! Dynamite comes in small packages!! Love the little hay bale.
Nice photos of the horses, even the one that does not face the camera.
At least there is hay to bale. I think though is that tiny horse at that she would look like the bale herself. :) She does look like she hasn't missed many meals.
The little guy reminds me of the comedian (can't remember his name) who asks, "Whas you lookin' at?"
What song was it - I loved Sesame Street. Loved the beautiful horses too.
Funny! And what a hair do. She stole my look. Seriously...if I were a horse that is what I would look like. Sigh.
Cute! Gotta love that evil eye you're getting from the little one.
Nice connection between the two sets of photos! :)
A fine horse and hay series. The horses are so interesting… especially the small one looking around at you.
What a cute little guy!
A "portable" bail of hay, for a "portable" pony. Have you noticed that, amongst humans too, the shorty ones are usually the grouchiest? xxxxx
A little bale of hay for the little pony, how cute can that get?!
I love the way your mind works! Great captures!
How very cute! I think she'd like a bale all to herself.
perfectly sized just for her! =)
The goats don't like butt shots either
Love the look on the little ones face!! And a perfectly sized bale it is!! Fun captures for the day! Enjoy!Sylvia
T, cute little one! Horse & hay!Saw one of those the other day. It was in someones front yard! They are quite popular around here. Now I'll be humming that all day!
Hi Texwisgirl, Yes, that is exactly pony-sized! I know that the round bales are easier to use because of tractor spike-style fork lift used by tractors, but it is hard to get used to seeing the giant bales. Mostly in CA, it is the older rectangular 75 lb. bales used. Have a great day!
Oh that is cute! Love his spots too.
So sweet! :)
Love her annoyed look!
the little one is obviously a bit more observant than her friends!what an expressionistic capture!! :)
that pony cracks me up!
And, of those three, I will lay odds that the little one rules the roost.
oh that is too funny!! 'love & hugs from afar'
ha! cute! she's about as wide as that little hay bale.
Now thoses are some short legs! Just my size ;)
Cute, Theresa... I love the look on that little one's face --as you stood there taking a picture... I think he was telling you to get outta there!!!!!!Yes--that little hay bale is just his size.....Hugs,Betsy
A lovely post... I love the little fella looking round..Nice to see you found a little horse bale...
Maybe he was a little embarrassed? Taking a picture of him from behind and all.LOLOLO
That's cute, and how the little fellow looks into the camera. Greetings
Too funny. You just get no respect!
Little in size but big on attitude. I love those round hay bales, they are starting to appear in our area too.
Great shots again..... your blog is nice.greetings from Holland, Joop
After seeing your comment on Peggy's blog about commenting probs, I figured I'd come visit. What do I see? Sesame Street. I had recently used the same reference in some of my posts. How strange. OH, and your advice on commenting worked out well for me. I see your form has the follow up email which I like. Nice blog. I'll be back.
HaHa...You are just too funny...it certainly is just right in size for that pony!
Is that a pony or some kind of miniature? (I should know this answer, being that I was born and raised in the state known for horses. LOL)
LOVE your posts!! LOVE them!!
