So beautiful!!!!Wide open spaces!

What a nice red barn. It stands out so well against the green and gold, very handsome!

Beautiful red barn! The golden grass and the trees (oak?) remind me of some parts of California up in the Gold Country.

wow, what a splendid landscape. love the tree shadows, just a hint. those high in the sky sun rays doing their job. that house is a sprawler too. nice shots TWG.

That is a lovely place! Somebody, when the grass is actually growing, takes very good care of their pastures. Look at how nice and even that stubble is. But, what kind of critters live in that barn?

What a beautiful scene! Love all the gorgeous shades of blues, reds, and greens.

I love barns.. and have trouble resisting them. Unfortunately, I'm not driving at the time so they're taken as drive by shots. Still fun though. This one is a beauty.

It is definitely a pretty place. So clean and manicured looking. Now, if that meadow were only green instead of brown, it would be a beautiful place, wouldn't it?

I love the bright red barn against the dull colors of a drought ridden summer. Hopefully it will rain soon.

Guess I've been up here in the mountains long enough to no longer be considered a flat lander. My first thought was "It's so flat!"

Dearest TexWisGirl,

That IS a pretty drive to town and the characteristic of such a red barn in the landscape with huge trees is striking!

Very pretty. I could live in a barn like that quite comfortably.

Clear, clean images. I guess the only way to get some rain on that grass is with Photoshop.

I always remember those barns when I think about Canada, and specially the red color. In Lunenburg it is very popular.

Have a beautiful day

Pretty classical barn! While we're living out here in the country, I too have certain "landmarks" that I make sure to look at every single time I drive our road to town.

Elaine said...

Beautiful scene! Usually the barn is bigger than the house, but the house kind of dwarfs the barn.

What a beautiful scene! It's nice to see green despite the drought. That red barn really pops!

out here in West Texas, it's all pretty much brown everywhere you look.
