I love sunflowers. They are just a happy flower. Or I've seen that sunflower happy face thing too many times since the 70's.
What a cute little bird, you just about miss seeing him in amongst all the flowers. Sunflowers are great, I always think of them as big happy flowers. lol
Pretty...and even more so in the sunlight! :)
We had Chestnut-backed Chickadees at our previous home. Neat little guys who I eventually was able to get them to eat out of my hand. I haven't seen any at our new home. I guess yours is the Carolina Chickadee?
An overwhelming job ahead for that poor little bird (I never have understood how they survive as they spend so much time darting here and there and back and forth)
YUM.... So many choices!!! It's like me sitting in an Ice Cream Parlor--trying to pick a flavor... haHugs,Betsy
I love this photo. Chickadees are the cutest, most quizzical fellas!
His eyes must be bigger than his stomach:@)

Lucky little guy, I am sure some of the flowers may have dried up before they had a chance to develop seed.

I think he is in bird heaven.
If your chickadees are as feisty as ours, it's probably defending its territory, double-daring others to come closer.
Talk about getting enough fiber!! That little guy must be full of you know what!....:)JP

Ah, the wee, small things! One of my very favorite birds.
Sunflowers and a chickadee. I think that could be an old song. Or a poem. Or a Hallmark card. Either way, it's very pretty.
You can suggest to the chickadee tossing a coin should be a good idea.
I love the call of a chickadee dee dee. your photos are awesome.

Love how you caught a shot of the cute bird on the sunflowers!
Oh, so pretty, and I’m oh, so tired. In motel with 3 alarms set so we do not oversleep in the morning. Gotta get Buddy on the train at 5:45. He and the backpack (right a 20 pounds now) are ready. He’s snoring and I am playing on the computer trying not to fret and worry about him. Hope all is well. Glad you got a chuckle out of the squash. Genie
Such a cute little fella.. Great shots..
It's true about that chickie. Seems to be admiring the flowers without a clue.
Poor bird, so many choices..
Hard to see that lil' fella among the sunflowers!
A True Birdie Buffet :)
And I bet there are lots of birds to enjoy them!
Beautiful, he seems so small among all these sunflowers.
