Even though that's a great barn I noticed the buzzard first thing. Great catch.
I would love to spend the day following you and your camera around. Buzzard makes it perfect!
great barn; I remember a song about the buzzard and the oriele? ...
I would sweep it out and move in LOL
Great shot of a universal Texas icon.
It's looking so green! You must have had rain!
Love the buzzard you sure can find some cool pics. Good job Tex. B
ZI love shots of buzzards, I didnt even notice the barn lol
That green grass poking through is a good sign!
I'm glad to see a little green poking through all that brown. Love the buzzard!
$5 says there's a couch inside.... ;-)
I'm going to try and join in on Barn Charm! I love old barns too.
ha ha on the couch, i will not take that bet. the buzzard seems to be watching the barn, he knows something we all know, death is nigh
LOL...that is so true!
I was thinking your grass was looking a bit more green - you had any rain by any chance?
The buzzard is practicing for Halloween and he's found the perfect hangout.
What is it about the old buildings/barns that are so charming? It's good to see some green in the pastures there!
What a great catch, that buzzard on the pole!
I love the buzzard....look at your green grass I'm in the throws of brown....
There are so many old barns around our country. I think it's good to keep photo reminders of them.
i like this one t!! is it being used or is it abandon??nice of the buzzard to include himself in the shot, i like icing on cake!!
Always love your barn shots and this one complete with buzzard is another winner! Hope you have a great day!Sylvia
Nothing like a good Buzzard to make a shot special!
Come on T! Now instead of going to art class today, I'm headed to the eye doctor. Thanks a lot! Margie
Hey! My URL worked today!! Yippee! Who cares about eyesight! Hugs!
glad you mentioned the buzzard. I have a hard time getting my eyes off the beautiful rusty roof. and you reminded me I have a couple of pictures in my camera of a tree full of buzzards. watch them not come out well.
Is this a joke? It duplicated. I'm not THAT excited.
Old barns are always interesting, We've got a ton around here and they're my go to subjects when i'm shooting monochrome.
The rusty roof and its setting midst the greenery make this very utilitarian barn look lovely!
I am mistaken the icing on my cake as the buzzard.
Very interesting. It's so looowww. The roof has character Tex! And I love me some icing on the cake :) I agree that it is nice to see some green in your bit of the country!
I would not want to be inside that barn during a hail storm!
I love the buzzard on the lightpole!Very nice and it really looks like the barns around here. :)
Your photos are so serene. Even with buzzards lurking in the background:)
Great photo! You must live close to my neck of the woods here in East Texas? I see scenes like this often but rarely stop to take a photo -- seems I'm always in too much of a hurry to get wherever I'm going at the time. Reckon I ought to slow down a bit ;)?Blessings,G
love the buzzard! So Texas! :)
Love that rusty tin roof!
That barn looks like it would attract a buzzard....
I would have missed that if you hadn't pointed that out.
Old Barn and a Buzzard...great combo!
T, I like this one! It has great character!
I'm with you! the photo of the old barn is good in it's own right. The buzzard is a bonus!
So it was a bird sitting there! :) I was going to ask about that...
You are amazingly lucky - I have no idea how you do it. sandie
What a fantastic photoand getting the buzzard too- wow!Have a good weekFiona x
Lovely rural scenes.
The state of the barn, the surrounding area and the buzzard all make this seem like a scene out of an old-west movie. I expect to see Gabby Hayes lying behind the barn (that's who the buzzards were always waiting for)...back a zillion years or so ago when I watched cowboy movies.
°º♫°º✿º° ✿♥ ♫° ·.Passei para uma visitinha.Apesar de parecer abandonada, a paisagem é tranquila e acolhedora...Belo click!... quanto ao urubu... ele também faz parte da natureza...Boa semana!Beijos.Brasil°º♫°º✿º° ✿♥ ♫° ·.
That buzzard "embellishment" over a decaying barn might be considered a little unsettling to some. ;-)
Nice of Mr Buzz to pose for us all !!!- KAT -
I like or love barns, what they have inside them, um, I can dream.
I've said it before and I'll say it again... Disneyland Thunder Mountain Ride! xoxo
Wondering if it's Heckle or Jeckle atop that pole. Great shot Texwis!
Mercy, child, you have good eyes..I didn't see the buzzard until you mentioned it. :))
What beautiful photos. This could be one of the old hog farrowin' houses that sat on our property here on the Ponderosa.God bless ya and have a most extraordinary day!!! :o)
I wonder if the buzzard smells something inside.. sniff sniff :>)Hugs,Pam
That is a cool barn. Love the well-used look of it.
Now that is a well used barn isn't it? Cool picture! Love it.
I would love to live in a little place like that... so close to nature. It would have to have a shower and leccy thought.(leccy is electricity google translate may struggle xx)
Wait to go getting the Buzzard in your shot! Nice.

New 'take' on Bird on a Wire. L. Cohen would appreciate the shot.
That`s a neat little barn. I like the rusting roof. It adds a nice touch to the barn.
Looks like our pole barn -- great photo, T!
Who are these people who say they saw the buzzard first?!
Great Barn and Buzzard!:)
Hi Texwisgirl, I just love today's pictures! Great work! By the way, after Friday, I will have spotty Internet access for a bit so if I don't catch your post for a day or two here and there, please do not think I am not liking your site. I will be right back here commenting as soon as I can.
Love the buzzard and the rusty roof on the barn...and I see green! Looks like you got some precipitation :)
Great shots! Love the rusty tin roof!
I think this would be a neat place to explore!
I'm not sure I'd want to spend the night in there.
Great pics T. the buzzard is an added attraction.
If there is a critter out there you my friend will find it! lol Great find!
Great barn, but I think the buzzard is out of luck. Any critters are long gone!
I'm glad you pointed out the buzzard. It made me smile. :)
That barn and the buzzard just go together! :)
It would be fun to poke around there. Love the buzzard. Glad you got more rain! :)
I love it! You're so right about Mr. Buzzard, he does add an extra touch to the scene.
Man you get lotsa comments. What was I going to say now. Oh! The barn. LOVE IT! There's just something about old buildings and the stories they could tell.
I am behind as usual after a weekend...we saw lots of buzzards this weekend. Passed an old dead tree on the way to Sarah's...it had at least a dozen or fifteen sitting in it, I would so have loved to take a picture of them.
buzzards and barns...cool...
Had to laugh at the comment about there being a couch in the old barn.
A fine Barn Charm post. I like the setting too, especially the buzzard.
Such a pretty and serene picture.
A nice little fixer upper!
An interesting rust pattern on the roof.
What a sad barn. The buzzard is perfect.
Enjoy your day !Greetings from France,Pierre

Thanks for pointing out the buzzard! Yes, it is rather fitting.
I think the buzzard is waiting on the barn to die ;).
As the B52's would say....tin roof!RUSTED!
That barn may not be the prettiest, but it has a lot of character. I wonder if the buzzard is a sign? LOL
Little bit of creep factor with the buzzard I'd say. lolNoteworthyMusings
