I very much love the homemade metal-work!While not nearly green enough, I'm happy to see a green hue on your fields!
I like the home-made one better, too. Simplicity is always so much better. Cute little cacti!
Both are unique.. I also like homemade. born between the deep blue sea and rambling countrysides, I'm a simple country gal at heart who loves the sea.hugs,Pa
I'm with you on the second one. Both are great finds!
They both look neat to me.
I agree. I live the homemade one better too but both are interesting details.
I love both of them, we have nothing like these here for sure. you are truly in fence country.
Think I'll go with the homemade one also, because of the clever use of the cacti. What does your fence hold? (still cannot locate my fence foto)
my Dad does metal work...I love it...
wow, you have the coolest fence details out there!
I love Friday fences. You are right the second one is my favourite too. Funny every time I write favourite it comes out with a line from spell check, I am Canadian that is how we spell it :) B
very cool ! Love how on the second one the animals and cacti are all setting on the horizon perfectly looks great with the blue blue sky there ! Great photos my friend- KAT -
My fav too! Love the rustic simplicity.
I adore the homemade one! So much character!
I like, I like!!
oh I love the second one, very cool
Very Nice...I too like the rustic homemade look of it.Blessings Kelsie
The personalization makes these fences/gates have much more character than plain ones.
saguaro but not prickly pear?
Very cool. Love the character it adds.
good lookin fences, twg! I bet my mom would love them, too, on her fences at the farm =)
How cool is that! These are great little bits of art on the fence and gate.
I totally love the second fence!
You are right - the home made one looks better, simply because the person making it is involved.
I really like the gate! We don't have much in the way of archway entrances. Most horse farms here have some form of brick pillars with wrought iron automatic gates.
That's a nifty looking fence. And do I spy some green in the pasture? Have a great weekend!
These are so creative...very unique! Thanks for playing today!
How nice and perhaps telling of the owners character, sense of humour, location... and so much more.Great captures!
oh really interesting; especially like the gate!
I have a soft spot for the "homemade" look too!Maybe because I have the "homemade" look too...you know, one foot bigger than the other, one shoulder higher that the other. Wait!? I think I just described myself as looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Scratch this whole comment other than the first sentence ;)
I really like the second example. To me, it looks like art...
Now, I would have two fences just so I could have both.
Home-made's always better!
I always enjoy walking through the displays of fence art at our fair. Maybe someday.
I enjoy looking at the fences you find. I enjoy looking at them and the farm gates.
I love it ...so cool looking!!
Neat! Love the ranch style adornment.
both are really awesome!
Love the first one best! Must take a pic for u of my maintenance mans idea of a fence!! Something to look forward too!! haha!!
I definitely like it cause it is different...someone does good work if it is homemade!
Always enjoy your "Friday Fences" and I, too, really like the homemade look! Enjoy your day!Sylvia
Those are so cool! That is a unique fence - I like it!xo Catherine
I love the second one!
Both are great, but the 2nd one is simply charming. Love it!
Fancy fences, love the last one!
I like these ranch fences. You just can't go wrong with cactus shapes, and yay for home-made!
There's something about country gates and fences. Love that gate.
Wow, those are some awesome fences. So original. Love them!!!!!
That second gate is pretty interesting. If it's home-made, that quite a craftsman! Love that blue sky too.
Oh wow. I wonder if they do goats?!
Those fences are really cool.
Was just telling a friend yesterday how much I have been enjoying see these fence photos from all over the U.S. and other countries. Tells you so much about a place. Like, even a good Texax cattle ranch needs to be "prettied up"! :-)
Stunning, the metal work is fascinating, superb photos.
Those are neat~ I think I like the second one too because whoever cut out those cow figures and painted them did and excellent job!
These are really cool! We don't heave anything like them here. Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a great weekend!
I truly dig the one with the cacti. What do you think that would look like in Massachusetts??
oh I love the hand-crafted one. everything about it. happy weekend to you TWG.
Some one must have spent a long time eon that fence! Looks nice.sandie
Lovely to see... crafts like that make the countryside special.
I love the gate! That one is my fave!
I like them both, but the gate for the same reason as you. :)
I'm with you and so many others! Love that second gate! And LOVE your Feral Woman cheer section over in your side bar!
Those are great! I remember seeing so many laser cut ornamental gates/fences on our visits to the great state o' TX. Must be THE thing to do! :) -Tammy
Aren't you glad you moved to Texas where everything stings or bites, the coyotes howl, and the gates are unique? I'm sure glad I met you here to view your pretty pictures.
First glance at photo #1, I really thought it was a cowboy on horse. Boy am I messed up. Unique fences to your area, so glad you posted them, Thanks.
Love that second fence! Happy Weekend:@)
Beautiful homemade fence. ^_^Friday Fences
The bottom fence is my favorite.
Saguaros in Texas?!? Cool fences, I like the second one too!
fancy fences!! i like anything non cookie cutter and unique!!have a happy weekend!!
I like them both! The second one really has home-made charm.
Hi Texwisgirl, I like that red fence also! Have a fabulously nice Saturday tomorrow!
Wow! Those are awesome! Very unique! I like the second one best too. You don't see gates like that around where I live in West Virginia. Do you have a cool looking gate?
Homemade gets my vote, too. And the yeller flowers, too!
These are great but I love the first one most.
Very cool! I like them both.
I like it too. It has a lot more character than a manufactured one.
I think it's cool too Tex! I love shots of rural rustic gates and fences :)
Love these metal graphics.
love that! really nice fence!!i think i must have been a metal worker or something in a past life...wrought iron, metal cut outs, metal sculpture...love it all!
I like the homemade one best :)
Roadrunner, cool! We don't have them around here.
Lasers and metal result in some beautiful creations these days! I really like your fences/gates!
Oh, just love the homemade fence art. It's priceless. :)
