...a smorgasbord of fences; great variety!
The first one was an eye-popper for me.Great segment.xx's
Oh, that last one is funny! Yes, it sounds as though they may own a dealership! Wonder what kind....??? ;)
Love your gates and fences post! The State of Texas gate-awesome!
A good job of framing the gates.
It would have been funny if all the vehicles parked at the Chevy house had been Fords. Obviously these are avid Chevy fans. Nice variety.
Our fences and gates are boring compared to TX!These are wonderful
That's nice composition of gates and fences, second photo need a bit of walk from the gate a nice exercise if you have no car to get inside. Have a nice weekend.
only in Texas...great shots girl...
I do love your Friday fences. Last one all I can say is WOW. B
Lots of gates to photograph, looks like fun.
i am married to the king of all things chevy, the bowtie is king to him. he would love that gate, and we don't own a dealership, but if we did it would have a bowtie on it. all the gates are great.
Looks like Texas to me . . .until the last one and I think the owner might be fromMichigan . . .
That Chevy gate is funny-- and of course, I like the Texas gate!
It's official. Texans win the prize for the coolest gates ever.
Next to the big sky in Texas I loved seeing all of the gates. Thanks for sharing these great shots and bringing back the memories.
These are nice! Love the variety of gates. I bet there's lots of them in Texas!
Kind of remind me of that American Soap Opera in the 80's in Texas, I think ... something about JR !!!
These are great. I like the first one best. The Chevy gate is funny!
Nice selection! I'm enjoying your series on gates and fences.
Love the last one and yes...I would guess they own a dealership too.
Nice selection! Its really worth having a look at the gates and fences. Thanks for showing us around!GreetingsYvonne and Raphael
'Yall have fancy gates, that's for sure! The Texas one is pretty detailed and the Chevy one cracks me up.
If they don't, at least they are buying American. :)Love the gates.

You're finding some cool looking gates/fences! Enjoyed your photos.
No wonder you are enjoying it - lots of neat fences in Texas!
I wonder, does he get a stipend for that advertising?
Awesome fences! I love the rusted ones best. And they Chevy bow-tie is certainly amusing. Hope you have a great weekend!
I like that State of Texas 1845 one :O). Yep betting that last one their income is tied to that brand of vehicle LOL in some way.
I still want one of those across my drive way. I love how they looks.
I thought you were going to say of the five cars parked in the driveway, only one was a Chevy - 2 Fords, a Toyota, a Dodge and the Chevy up on blocks.
Great fence/gate series! These entryways are so very interesting and varied. Cool shots!
I like them all, but the first one takes my eyes. Would love to see what it on the other side. sandie
love the pictures. fences can get pretty creative. part of a persons personality!
Great eye! I'm wondering how long it takes you to upload multiple pictures to your post. Yesterday when I tried to do more than one picture it was taking way too long. Is this normal? Have a great weekend.
These are great, Theresa! I don't know which I like the most. The Chevy one I like the least...I do know that. Not anything against the make...just don't like it.
I enjoy your photos! Fences, Squirrels, Horses, dogs, orange fencing around the pond, birds, barns and bones!
Great details in all your shot. I love to see this type of pride people take in the property they own.
I love gates and fences - these are all wonderful!
I love these gates and especially the Texas one. We have a few around here. I always wonder about the story behind them.
The gates and the fences make each individual property special. I smiled at the Chevy one.Great finds!Carletta@Round The Bend
T, cool gates! Don't get many of them around here. There is one down the road that has the traditional skull and horns!
I like the Texas 1845 best!
You don't see anything like that up here....
I just love those Texas gates!
I had fun looking at all the different gate you have here.. ~Linda
I agree, T.. these are awesome shots of both.My new name for U is 'super blogger' I don't know how you keep-up:)smiles n hugs,P
I just love seeing all the different fencing from across the country, especially the ranches out west.
A fine series of gate and fence pictures. The entrances arches are of such interesting designs and have so much character. They make a fine post.
I love the arches, they make such a statement! That last shot is so funny...what a sense of humor! Thanks for playing FF
They're all so unique! Yea, the Chevy one is a little much...
what a great post, those are great to see
That's a very different kind of post about fences, why didn't i think of that myself, lol. Richard from Amish Stories
great group of fences!really glorious!
Some pretty impressive fences and gates there - really like the first one.
Great gates! I loved the first one the most, but that last one was such fun to see!
Like the first gate...love the second lane, and the others were creative!!Nice captures yet again.
is Friday's Fences a new meme or something? I like it. I imagine Texas is a great place to find great fences - you guys like to do things big and fancy there, and your photos demonstrate that! my fave is the third one - the circle with the Texas star, it's beautiful. all are fine though. happy weekend Theresa.
These are wonderful to see Theresa.. It's great to see what you see... blogging at it's best xx
I'm certainly getting a fence education from this meme. Your Texas fences are things of beauty and utility. My favorite of this collection is the first "State of Texas"--such a pleasing background. Are you a Chevy fan as well? Noticed your promo. :-)
I'm just glad the cars in the last driveway weren't Toyota:@)
Fences and signs, beautiful in their own way, these are superb.
As a Texas girl myself, I love all the creativity found in the gates and fences surrounding property. People will pretty much use anything! One of my favorite fences is the coyote fence made out of vertical cedar posts. I want one real bad...
Ah, such cool fences/gates. Love em, especially "The State of Texas" one. Happy Friday T!
No one can say Texans don't know how to decorate their gates! :)
i think they are having a contest in texas....they sure don't do fences/gates small!!have a happy weekend!!
Nice collection! I don't think I could find anything like that around here. Love the big brick house in the last photo.
Very nice! I like the gates a lot.
Gosh what great gates!!
I do love your gates (and fences)....and today, I wish I had stopped to photograph one of the pretty laser cut gates along my drive! It's just an "iffy" place on a canyon road. ;-)
HA! That chevy design is pretty funny.
What great gates and so creative! Here people do signs with the names of their farms and I enjoy seeing all the different names.
although i do see farms in our area with these large welcoming gates like this, they still seem to say "texas" to me. (maybe because of the show dallas.)
Wow! Those are just great! You've got me really wanting a unique fence around my place! I need a fence with a gate! lol
My would be like the Chevy one but it would just say JEEP!
Pretty funny about the Chevy's but my favorite is the first one.
Oh the Texan one is super cool & i'm assuming the 'logo' on the last one is a Chevvy car badge?? Love Posie
Being a Ford gal its hard to admit I like the Chevy gate.
Those are cool! And worth have the photo to themselves.
Very nice! I like them all...
nice selection of fences/gates.that last one...yeah, they're real die-hard chevy fans!
I, too, love that last one!
Great post. I love gates, too. I usually see the most interesting property entrances when we're traveling down the highway at 70 mph and I can't get a good shot! So I really enjoyed these. :)
We have a neighbor down the street that put up a green street sign on his driveway that says, Chevy Blvd. I like the chevy gate in your photo much better!
Wonderful images. They all made me smile.
You've done wonders with the fences/gates as a frame. Love that Chevy emblem--true blue GM girl here!
Gateways...entrances...thresholds. These are the first impressions of a place; enjoy your posts!
Nice! I like the archway type entrances you guys have there in Texas. I think they add character to a place.
