Reminds me of...

...that wedding thing where the bride and groom link arms and drink champagne.  At least they're not shoving cake in each other's faces...
And, yes, the couple of inches of rain we got last month was enough to start tiny traces of green in the pasture again.  The horses are really happy about that.   Me, too.  "A toast!"  {clink!}

How sweet . . . glad you got a little rain unlike the poor people who copped the dust storm.

Very clever post! Beautiful photo of your horses. I'm thankful you had at least enough rain to grow some new grass. I'm sure you were (and the horses) were tired of the brown.

Beautiful pictures of the horses, the green grass and your nice words. I toast you.

I wasn't aware you got a couple of inches of rain. It must have happened while I was away. I hope more comes soon.

Good to see all that green! Yay for your horses! Having that little bit of rain also made the rose garden in Farmers Branch explode with blooms. I went out Sunday for some photography and the scent from all those blooms was overwhelming. Amazing what a little rain can accomplish. I'm planning to do a post about it when I have some extra time. Hope you're having a great day!

And are the color of the leaves changing your your way folks as they are mine. Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoy the beautiful fall season that has now begun. Richard from Amish Stories.

Very nice. Glad the two of them are out and about and able to enjoy the fresh grass.

It has been very windy here in Ohio yesterday and today. It is also very wet and cold. The leaves are falling. The sky is a dark winter gray color. I can't seem to stay warm.

I enjoyed my visit to your blog.

Very nice shot! You can tell they are liking the bit of green that has returned.

Paula said...

LOVE this picture!

littlethingsoflife said...

Beautiful shot, TWG -- and nice editing effects. So much more dramatic than if both horses were of the same coloring.

Isn't it amazing how the grass bounces back when given even a small drink of water?? Hope there is more to come soon. The cooler temps help it not to dry out so fast, either.

Enjoyed your toast at the end, too. Cheers!!! =)
