Sweet September Skies V

One last September sky post.  One morning the sun had to fight its way through some cloud layers at the horizon.  These are all straight out of the camera without any enhancing.

The transition was neat to watch.

Absolutely stunning! We have not had any sunsets or sunrises to speak of here that make you go AHHHHH!

Peggy said...

beautiful morning pics! I am jealous. Each morning when I go out to do chores the canopy of oak trees keep me from seeing the sunrise. Part of the front yard is open so I can see the sky but I am headed in the opposite direction in the morning. Seeing your sunrise made me realize what I am missing each morning.

I am never able to get going early enough for sunrise pictures. Too many years of having to get up before the chickens to go to that four letter word, W**K! I am now making up for it. Yeah, I am a slacker.

What a lovely start to the day you have shown. It reminds me of the lyrics of a song. Trouble is, I can't remember the name or singer of the song, and I can't find any results when I google it. Maybe I'm imagining it?

"Daylight is dawning, comes a new morning" is how I remember the song starting.

Hard to believe September is over. Since I just moved almost 1,000 miles north, it's like I jumped over a whole month anyway! Things are about 3 weeks earlier here!
Hope that October is drizzly and cold for you!!!
