I met my first blogger pal today!

Remember the old milk can I discovered in the receding pond this fall?  Well, a fellow blogger (who happens to live outside of the Dallas area like I do) expressed interest in it.  I retrieved the can from the mud, and we agreed to meet up the next time she came into 'my town'.

Today I met Mom of M&Ms from Simply Life Photographs.  I was her first in-person blogger connect, too!  She's as down-to-earth and sweet as ever (must be that native Midwestern blood!)
Yup, that's a port-o-potty in the background - just keeping it real!
I also got to meet Dad of M&Ms as well as the two Ms!  (Girls, you may be Ms, but to me you'll always be 'Booth' and 'Bones'!)  What a fun family!
The milk can's loaded into the van, ready to head to its new life as porch decor.
So an old, unearthed, patina-covered milk can brought two bloggers together from neighboring counties for a few hugs and photos in a parking lot.  I do love living in Blogland.  Mom of M&Ms, I'm glad you're my neighbor!  :)

Looks like you two had a lot of fun. I met one of mine several years ago when she was in San Antonio going to school. She drove out here and I took her to the ranch and out to eat. She doesn't blog anymore but will e-mail occasionaly. She was fun and down to earth too.

Well, you have each found a new friend with shared interests, not to mention drowned milk cans.

It certainly adds spice to blog visits.

Lucky you, I haven't met one yet, I don't have a milk can either - it rusted away.

It's definitely fun to get to meet in person those you've come to feel like you know already (kind of the modern day version of pen pals!). I have met three of my bloggie friends and have two more on the burner! (Wonder who?)

So Sweet. Great pics. It is pretty cool when you get to meet a fellow blogger face to face & they turn out to be just as great in person as they are in blogworld. I love that The Goodwifes Farm & I became such good friends in blogworld & emails, then got to meet in person & hung out a few times... then she & her family up & move on me, lol. But I know we will always be friends, we have so much in common.

oh Teresa I cant believe you left your home grounds.

Wow a miracle.( Kidding)

How nice is that Teresa ti have a blogger you have met and her family.

Excellent.

I read one gal who comments has met five. Now lucky her.

You never know. I found an old school mate in a Restaurant next town . I knew her when I was in grade six. Now she is atleast late 60's.

To me she still looked the same.

She was in shock I would notice her .

I remember faces well and this one her full name. So for me that was a bonus.
