Love it, I've met a few!
That's so funny!
But when you need spare parts they're right there in the yard :).
We got us lots of them on our road Tex, I may have to snap one and up the ante! I have to tell you I'd drive that little old farm truck with pride and a lot of laughing if it had some seats in it! Of course I have to admit, I'd be happy to get back to my comfortmobile!
Oh yay!! I love your new header! Texwisgirl!
That little baby would fetch millions at a good ole Texas red neck auction. It's a thang o' beauty.
Ha ha,so...did you go in for a bear>
Haha ~ too funny!xo Catherine
There's not really a lot of it left is there?
We have them also. God have Mercy on this broken and wounded world.
Look like a "Redneck Limousine" to me. By the way, there could not possibly be many of them in Texas. ;-)
Tee, Your new header is great design and color. Love the redneck car. I don't think the sign was necessary. xo Jenny
I just love this Theresa! Just too cool.
I know somebody who would take that truck right now. He'd put a million dollars of work into it and it would just look the same as in your photo. It would run well, but look the same. :)
I love TExas!!!!
OH how true that redneck pride is,lol!!
I like your new header, but I'm not sure what a Red Neck is,---is it someone who drives very fast?
Ha! Love that!
i love red necks and love that truck. hubby and i are closet red necks. LOL
Well.... I had heard rumors :)
Pretty cool. :) I would love to have seen the folks driving this....
It will look nice when the Christmas lights and tinsel are hung on it!
HaHa...love it...we have them here too!
Ha! Love it!
I don't know the "Redneck" car. I think it would be a good car if it is repair and run well.I like the picture.Greetings, Angela
I like Joe's comment ... had an uncle who definitely was a redneck ... junk cars in the front yard ... spare parts whenever you need them!
I don't live in Texas but did you take that picture in my front yard??? LOL
Gotta love Texans!!
I can top this one, Theresa: in our little town, someone has a "junked" pick-up in the yard (full of junk in the bed), and they've strung Christmas lights around it. It just screams REDNECK - even louder than the decal on the one in your picture!
Oh yes one does see this type thing pretty regular here in Texas a long with many other things piled in yards. :O(
Just love it. I believe there are Rednecks nation wide. You gotta love 'em.
Haha...that looks familiar to scenes around here. Remember my "Party" truck;))Funny.(I like what Joe said...spare parts indeed;)
all it needs is a few recliners in the back of it!! too funny I think Alaska is full of them also!!
Haha! Too funny! That truck looks like several that's still on the road around here.:)
And, in case you're wondering, we have them in FL also. :)
You got very close to it for this photo. Are these rednecks good friends of yours or were you just feeling brave by pulling into their yard?
LOL! I know that's right! LOL!
Love your new header, Theresa! All that truck needs is a wreath hanging off the grill in front. I've seen a few of those around here!
I bet it puts out some nice heavy exhaust too...
hahahahahahaha! That's great!
I am at a loss for words except that it reminds me of the neighborhood we moved away from 2 years ago.
I was thinking it would be fine on a hot summer day, but not one of your hot summer days!
Aw well we have lot of those around here too.
We have them here in NE Oregon, as well! LOVE this photo! When our oldest son was back home from NYC, he captured a couple of images that said "Redneck" loud and clear. I should try some, myself!
Being a Texan myself, I certainly know they exist! Of course this makes me think of all those Jeff Foxworthy jokes... Oh my.... ;P
Home Sweet Home. Where's the duct tape?
"oh come on now, you know thats the cheapest way for a man to keep his property taxes down"..LOL at least thats what a dairy farmer told me in Wisconsin LOL I hope you werent bitten by a coon hound or a bear dog when you took that picture!true story - once in a WI Woods while timbercruising, I heard the baying of dogs and the slow idling of a big pickup, sure enough, while walking on a dirt road to cross into another section of woods, down the road a ways come a big ole nasty chevy truck with a plywood platform on the hood, and two hounds tied to it, barking and baying up at the scent of bear...ah, bear hunting season in WI - what a weird encounter - I scooted off into the woods as fast as I could...LOLand your photo about fits the description!
What's not to be proud of????
We have some here too! sandie
too funny!haha!i love that truck!
Love the new look of you blog! Great picture of you...and Texas REDNECK? :)
I see quite a few of these here too! One sits at a apt complex.......
It still has wheels, what's with that?? In many places in Kentucky and West VA, they don't! :-)
Redneck trucks had shotguns hanging in their rear windows when we move here 26 years ago. Thankfully, the laws changed.
You need a sweeper, to sweep up the garbage. Good photo anyway.
When we see cars like that they are usually stolen and burnt out... I have a few images seen on my walks that I will dig out to share... I was a bit ashamed when I took them.Love the new header by the way T x
Funny post you got here. I think we have some to!!!
Was there ever any doubt?... Wait a minute, I think I used to date that man!
Yep, does look like my birth state and a great reminder of why I live in Seattle!!Sylvia
we have 'em here too...ALL rednecks ARE proud rednecks!!haha! nice shot!
We have quite a few of those around here! At least the ones on the road here still have doors!
I love the new header on your blog, and the "redneck" picture is good too. It's probably obvious, do they need to advertise?
Co kto lubi :-). Pozdrawiam
Hey, it's got good tires. Must be a good runner. ;)
Ha, too funny! Perhaps it is a lawn sculpture.
Too funny! The bumper is hanging out of the bed. LOL!
What can I say?
One wo/man's junk is another wo/man's treasure.I suppose the rise in popularity of reality based TV shows like American Pickers and Pawn Stars are two good examples.
Funny picture! We have rednecks aplenty around here too! :)
Hi Theresa, My best friend's hubby is a REDNECK ---but would never admit it if anyone called him that...He drives one of those big ole trucks ---but his truck is his baby.. He keeps it clean and he buys every gadget made to mankind for that truck... His wife told me that he recently spent $500 on more gadgets for that truck... Maybe since he doesn't drive a beat-up rattletrap truck, I should call him a "Yuppie Redneck".... ha ha Hugs,Betsy
There are plenty of 'em up here too
Love it! Great capture.
can you believe that same truck, same condition, could easily be found around here, too.....
And proud of it!!! Margie
Oh my...that looks like a future redneck swimming pool. All they need is a tarp and some water. =D
Ha, that is funny. Does someone really drive it or it is becomming a junkyard. Great capture. Have a great weekend!
Hi Texwisgirl, Yes, and here in TN we have genuine hillbillies. : )Have a super nice day tomorrow!
T, yep, we gottum here too🍺
I don't see any flowers planted in it yet.
I don't know what is more distrubing....knowing that Texas really does have rednecks or you "the crazy lady with the crazy dogs running around with animal bones hanging out their mouths" calling out Texas rednecks :o
The decal on the windshield says it all, doesn't it.
I love, love, love your new header photo. And, yes, we have cars marked Redneck here as well. I finally posted the photos you sent with the links. I am so happy to get that done. I hope we hear from Leontien soon. Thanks again for your help.
That's too funny!!! Unless they live next door!
Very cool! Love your new header!
We could have a lot of fun bouncing around and over that thing!
Oh they're everywhere.
Yes there are! Too funny!
Yup there is a few like that in my yard too lol...I married a redneck :)
How did you get that picture? Did you feel the fuzz on your neck curl with the sound of a click?
Can't stop laughing:)Tiffany
They should turn that truck into a plant potter.
Yep seen them like that. When my husband tells folks in other parts of the country he is from Louisiana, they always say "New Orleans?" My husband replies, "No, the Redneck part of the state." Now you have a picture of what he means.
too funny, we have them too
Hi there - we have them here as well! But we call them bogans!Cheers - Stewart M
Yep, when they park it in the front yard they are probably a redneck. I grew up in GA so I've seen my share.
Ah, the south. Well I think I would rather see that than a toilet with flowers growing out it! HA!
Good one- Yep we have a few here too. Have a super weekend.B.
See, here's a case of stating the obvious! I'm pretty sure the truck alone minus the window decal screams redneck! I guess they just wanted people to be clear about it. It actually looks a lot like trucks I see here in KY all the time. :-)
Haha, that's awesome!
Classic, just classic.
Good grief~ they're everywhere! *hehe*I love the little "x marks the spot" marks all over the truck to signal "rust/bondo/in need of attention" places.
