that is a really fantastic home!love it!
Cool looking house, minus the hole of course:@)
The ceilings must be pretty cool. I'm guessing they are open (with the sky lights).
I've always wanted to check out the inside of a round house too!Sad about the hole. I'm guessing it's abandoned?
Very Cool. To bad about the hole. It is so nice to see a different shaped house my imagination takes me into the inside too. B
Looks lovely! I can't shake the feeling that it should be made of gingerbread.
Too bad about the hole. That is a really cool house. And, it even has a fence in front of it. ;)
Why was there a hole in the roof?was there a fire?
With the hole, it's probably empty...I don't think I could have resisted taking a peek or two through the windows!
It does look really nice in that lovely wooded setting. Too bad about the hole in the roof.
Now that's really cool. Would love to see the inside.
the hole in the roof makes me wonder if anyone lives in it. it really is pretty, i like it. and love the setting with the trees and of course a fence in front of it.. wonder if a tree limb fell through it. i vote you go knock on the door and ask for a tour so we can see inside it toooooo
I really like this. So picturesque!
I also wonder if it's vacant. So interesting! I also think you should go knock on the door...
Hmmm, and it looks fairly new. Very different.
oh no, i wonder what happened?
Unique, i wonder it is abandoned !
Love the places you find to show us. :)
Wow, that's neat! It does kinda make you want to peek in the windows.... *giggle*(It's not illegal if you're just wanting to check out the floorpaln and not the people, is it? *haha*)
Really unique! I'd love to see the interior.
Cool house, maybe someone will take interest in it and fix her up! Hope so, it won't last long with that hole in the roof for sure.
We have round schools and barns but I've yet to see a house. Still I always think about the psychological problems of the farm dog who lived in a round barn. He couldn't find a corner to...... :)
I want that home!!! I've always love dome homes. I wonder what it looks like from the inside. Probably similiar to a hobbit hole:)
I'm with you - I'd love to see what that looks like inside. Sometimes Xray vision would be nice:)
Nicely designed home. Shame to see it deterioate!
What a pretty place. I too would be curious as to how it is arranged inside.
Very cool looking home!
That's pretty neat... but, I hope they get that darn hole fixed & soon!!! =)
I think that is a really interesting house. I would like to see inside too. I like the look of the property too.
Interesting house. With that unauthorized hole in the roof, and if the property isn't posted, I'd go take a look. ;)
Very interesting architecture. It looks to have top lights on four directions and on the uppermost. I’m curious what the inside is like, too, and wonder what the roof is made of.
Neat house...it makes me want an inside tour. :)
I wonder if anyone was still living there, with the hole in the roof.
What a great looking place.Looks a bit like an observatory.
I don't see a pack of hounds, a couple of troublesome horses, a dried up pond with plastic orange fencing, tree rats hanging from bird feeders or stuffed groundhogs sporting cool shades so my guess is no one lives there.
I'd love the see the inside as well. Sad about the roof.
I can see why it caught your attention. I wonder if a falling branch may have done the damage. It does look to be in good shape otherwise. Nice post.
That is a really charming home...I wonder if one of those big branches fell off n made the hole!!!!
It looks an amazing building! Too sad about the hole in the roof. It must be abandonded...
What a cool looking place! Too bad about the hole. I'd be curious how it looks on the inside, too!
What a cool house!
So that hole means it's uninhabited right now? A meteor, perhaps? ;-) Fascinating shape, though.
i love skylights and all the natural light they provide.you guys are pretty creative there in texas...your homes, your gates, everything is bigger in texas!!
It looks so sweet nestled in the trees and brush....
nice front door entry too. I noticed the rusty barb wire fencing looks amazing to my eyes...and don't even get me started on the tree-KAT-
What a neat looking house. It doesn't look vacant but I'm wondering if it is since it has that hole in the roof.
Very interesting looking place. Nice photos too!
Very cool! I like it and the big tree really adds to the picture.
Oh, I'd LOVE to see the inside of that place! I hope the hole isn't all the way through and isn't letting water in. :( That is one cool house!
When dating, my then-to-be husband mentioned building a home like that. Without the hole in the roof, though. Meteor? Hungry squirrel?
Hmmm.. makes one wonder.Maybe you can knock on the door and see if anyone is living there. If not... you could take a peek inside. Satisfy your curiousity :)
Interesting looking house! I'd be curious to see the inside, too! Hope you have a fun weekend!Sylvia
That's very cool! Or it was cool at one time. It appears to be uninhabited - I'm guessing. It would have to be a little weird at first to live in a round house.
A szkoda, bo całkiem ładny dom. Pozdrawiam
Oh, that is a neat find! Too bad about the hole.
And here's me thinking you had the only designer home in your part of the world... the dome looks great but I would have the nonagon any day..It's fu'/@*g freezing over here at the moment... -7c this morning.
What a cool home! It reminds me of an old English cottage for some reason. We actually have friends who have a round home. The staircase curves up the wall.
Obviously there is no one there, you maybe could have gone and taken a peek, I know you aren't supposed to, but this old jane would have. :-)
i want to buy that place....
Nice House! Love the setting too! Maybe the hole is the entrance for aliens? Just a thought.
I would be so temped to go have a peek around inside. Unless you are barking mad, i doubt anyone will still be living there. What a lovely house though.
I had to laugh. Since we live along the Gulf Coast and have been through many hurricanes, my husband is convinced he will one day build a "dome home" (yeah, that's what he calls it). It will be like an igloo so the will will go around it nicely. Not me, he can live by himself. :)
I like it! I could live there I think.
What an interesting house! I'd love to see the inside of it.
Wow, it is so beautiful, even though the hole.
Unusual home. I like it. The red door is cool. A peek inside would be fun. Thanks for sharing.
Are these "round" houses common in your area of TX? I can't say I knew that you live in an octagonal house. Now I want to see how YOUR rooms are arranged!
It is really beautiful! But I guess no one lives there, considering the holes in the roof...? But it dont really looks like an abended house either...well, have a great weekend :)
It looks really cool and I would love to see the inside. I'm with Sandra...knock at the door and get some pics of the inside. :) No one could turn you away!
Great looking house . . . . curious though, the hole because, why?
A very cool structure! Too bad about the hole. Sometimes I feel that way about my head, but somehow I continue to function. :) Thanks for sharing.
What a great house - most unusual but lovely all the same.
It looks like a house for Hobbits! I wonder if anyone is living there with that big hole?
It is a neat looking house. Are people living in the house with a hole in the roof? That could could be the norm nowadays. I have a similiar looking house down the street from me. Great pic's! Have a wonderful weekend!
So it's abandoned? It must have been a challenge to build.
Great looking house - there is a house that looks a lot like this near our house but it is not as well taken care of (minus of course, the hole in the roof).
T, cool looking house. Is it abandoned? Must have got a widow maker from that tree.
I wonder what happen to cause that hole?
I wonder if someone lives there? If so, what about that hole? Hmm
beautiful...your blog is very much interesting...congrats...
what a unique place...almost as unique as yours
pretty interesting. would love to see this house.
Weird. Beautiful home - but has a hole. We need more on this please.
Go sit in the corner!Wait...
I like it. You could tell a little fib and say you are looking for Mrs. Jones if someone answers your knock. Hee hee
That's very cool.
To bad, it is an awesome home! Worth saving I say!
Very pretty and lovely location. It looks like it was well done. My SIL and daughter live in a dome house, but they are still working on the interior.
That is a shame about the hole, it looks like it could be a very nice house. I would love to see inside.
That's a great looking house, it would be interesting to see how it is arranged inside.
i hope the hole is a temporary condition. looks like a livable home otherwise. shame if it went to pot.
Oh...there is, indeed, a big hole in the roof...I wonder what happened...it is a piety...Did you see the little fence???Even though I love the photo....KissBS
Looks lovely, very cool looking house.
Very interesting! I hope you can make their acquaintance and an invitation to visit inside some day. I know you must be very curious. That would be fun.
What a beautiful house!
A great house! I hope the owners can repair it and do live in it and it is not abandoned!
trees are dangerous next to a house...but i still have some too LOLI love this pictures - you framed the house just right in the light :)
That's a neat-o looking place- I would love to see the inside too. I've been in one before, as it was being built, but never got to see the end result.
Oh my... gorgeous home!! I would love to investigate inside :)
ooooh! poor house! tree? meteor? BIG bird?i wonder why there's no tarp over it??!!
I wonder what happened to it...it looks like it had been a beautiful place.
Awesome place! A rotten shame about the roof though, hopefully it'll get tended to soon.
Oh gosh I like this too! I saw it in a thumbnail when reading your post today and I had to click on it. I wonder how the hole got there? otherwise it does look in great shape.
