Where do they come from? Are they migrating north? Never seen them. Darling photo. xo Jenny
I just looove these little guys with their pink eraser feet and bills. ♥
Those ducks are really different.
Those are the prettiest ducks ... what are you drawing these days?
Lovely reflections in your pond. :)
They are so lovely!!
I think their bills are such a cool color. Evidently, they prefer the warmer climate, so I'll probably not see them 'round these parts.
Gorgeous pictures! I can't believe how still the water is... and I agree with Pig in Mud~ the first one made me chuckle because they're all lined up waiting to see who goes first! *haha*
I love that top one of them all lined up.
What fun to have them visiting once again . . . can I call them CUTE!
they are so cool. if you just glance quickly at the first photo, it reminds me of an alligator.

So.....I wondered if we had any of these ducks here. Didn't see any, but I found a similiar looking one known as the Graylag duck....but no whistling black bellies:) They are really beautiful birds!
I still like how they look just like a small army! That's so funny. It's not something you notice with other ducks. Lovely reflections!
At least they look like *real* ducks once they get in the water instead of flamingo ducks! LOL!!
They know a good thing when they got it :)
Aahhhh---water in our pond!
Another meaning to getting your ducks in a row!

Hi Theresa, I have just enjoyed looking through the posts I missed this week, you certainly had some creative fun with the twisted tree :-) The Black-bellied Whistling Ducks captivated me both here and on the earlier post, what lovely creatures they are and they look so funny in the first photo, just as if they are standing around having a bit of a chat while they are waiting for a bus :-)

I am so jealous of your duck population. We don't have even one duck! What a sight! I am so chuckling at those red billed fellows all in a row. Now how did you get them to do that? Absolutely delightful picture.
Them's some cool lookin' burds! If you are reading this you can rest assured the TV ad about the "shock proof hard drive in Toshiba laptops" is not just advertising hype. No, I have not thrown this thing across the room....yet....but it's been a temptation. I have managed to sty logged in and post comments on Blogger using Internet Explorer and I hate IE because it's slow and clunky!Google Chrome refuses to let me use any of my Google products or accounts including Blogger, Picassa web albums, Gmail or Google+. They all work just fine with IE:-(
Great reflections. I love the way they line up along the edge of your pond, they are beautiful ducks.
We dont have them here but then I have to be honest . I dont know all the birds that do come back in the spring. Perhaps this season I might look a bit harder. Love Love the images.
I love the way they are lined up on the shore. Maybe they are trying out for the swim team? Great reflections.
My reaction when I opened the first image..."Oh that's fantastic!" and then I spied the red bills in the second photo and my happiness was complete. Thanks so much for all you share here T - true gifts!x
