That's a beautiful life!Simply "to be"!Have a nice weekendAngela
It's so much fun watching a horse roll around. They always look like they're totally enjoying themselves!
great series of shots; wondering do you ride your horses?
Bautiful! When I was young-er I dreamed of a red horse like this :) Do you ride by the way? Its been a long time since I sat on a horse but I would love to do it again :)
Beautiful photos of your horses, love them!
Widziałam taką sytuacje kiedyś na łące i bardzo mi się to podobało, a teraz to widzę u Ciebie. Pozdrawiam.*** I've seen this situation once in a meadow and I really enjoyed it and now I see in you. Yours.
Now THAT'S the way it's done!
We loved those!
A refreshing diversion. It's been raining here for the past six hours! That means lots of new green grass for the horses.
Hhaha. Fun Pictures to start my day. Thanks!
we live in the part of New Jersey (northwest corner) that is horse country, not many people knowing NJ has anything but the turnpike. The United States Olympic Equestrian team facilities are here... beautiful creatures
Oh, I love this series of pictures! (and now I'll have that song in my head all day. No problem! It's a good one!)
Great series of photos! Those are beautiful horses!
Great series! The horse seems to enjoy it very much! Many greetings and have a nice weekend!Yvonne & Raphael
These are wonderful! What a life. :)
Looks like someone's been playing paintball. How's you pond? I see you should've gotten a few drops of water overnight?
Love seeing this -- just like a little colt. :)
Sometimes you just have to scratch that itch!xo Catherine
Ahhh a back rub is always a good thing!
I love watching horse play! :D My Mother use to always tell me that when you see horses rolling on the ground and frolicing in the pasture, it is a sign of rain. Beautiful horses, do you ride them?
What a great roll in the grass! Most of the time, we goats are not fond of rolling like that, but that does look quite satisfying.
How wonderful to see all that frolicking. Great pictures!
Beautiful horses and a great series of photos! Happy weekend!
;))) There now, that's all better...I could just imagine the beauty saying as the other one looked on. I love horses and I cannot wait until spring around this state~
Great series of photos again. The horses look like they`re happy and totally enjoying themselves.
Whew! When you have an itch you just gotta get to it !
Oh Man, I can feel how good that felt to Zim! Super series of pictures of Zim livin' the good life :) What a hunka horse!I did it :)
Ahhh, that feels much better!
And Gem didn't want to roll after that!
My dog does this all the time, I never tried it myself, maybe I will.
Such a good roll!! LOL!T., have you heard anything about Leontien? I have her on my mind so frequently and go check her blog... but, nothing. Breaks my heart for her. blessings ~ t.
great series... so much fun catching those moments!
Great pictures . . . I guess I will try that kind of roll the next time my back itches!
still laughing, laughed all the way through, the 3rd is my favorite, she looks like baby and jake, they do this in the middle of the floor when we are watching TV. but i must say it is more fun watching a horse do it. also love the two where she is getting up. ahhhhh the life of a horse on the RAR
After the roll, the shake, and the full-body snort, isn't there a little jumping into the air and kicking and trying to get Gem to engage in some play before returning to the regularly scheduled program? :)
These are lovely Theresa.....nice done.Greetings, Joop
How fun was that? I so enjoyed these images/action shots. Wonderful. As I have to say ---horses are marvelous marvels!!My Saturday Link: HE'S ALL KNOWING...ALL SEEING Hope you're having a great weekend so far.
Nothing more satisfying that scratching an itch.
a little spring fever maybe...beautiful...
It's great when you reach that itch! lol
Ah, that does feel great, doesn't it? Love to watch them roll around and then get back to the serious business of eating! Enjoy your weekend -- all of you!!Sylvia
LOL...bet that felt soooo good!
Loved this post. I watched the photos and see that he did make it — a full rollover. When I was a kid, the horses could or would seldom roll all the way over to their other side. This one looks like he or she did it several times. Nice shots.I was recently hacked while on Blogger and ended up having to lose everything. So I went to WordPress and am trying to get back up and running again. I was never able to retrieve my other blogs from Blogger and eventually had to quit Blogger and Google altogether. I am trying to start up a couple of blogs with Blogger but it has been a struggle.Anyway...iamabrahamlincoln.wordpress.comwriting26letters.wordpress.comAre the two blogs where I am now.
I hope he (she) managed to reach the itch!!!
Great shots ! Beautiful horses. (o:
These photos are great...now, have your hubs take some of YOU riding your pretty horses. :))
That looks like fun! :)
Beautiful horses, they look very relaxed ^_^Have a lovely Saturday!Eva
Well, that must have been satisfying. I love the way the other horse just goes on grazing peacefully. Great series - always love your animals!
Wonderful images! Well captured
Spring is just around the corner and feeling horsey today! Getting an early start on getting rid of the winter coat. Good catch!
This post makes me hopeful that spring is near. And it reminds me of a friend who had an unwelcome house guest who kept scratching his back on the door frame just like a pig would. When she complained to me about his habit, I told her to "be happy he's not acting like a horse with an itchy back." ;-)
Hey girl! I didn't put word verification on my blog. Didn't know it was there. Thanks for telling me.I'll try to remove because I dislike messing with it too. Thanks again.
Great sequence of pictures!
LOL - such amazing and gorgeous shots!
Just like a dog. signed Sinbad >^..^<
Still love horses. Nice shots!
Thanks again...I'd been trying to figure out how that happened and how to fix. It's kinda' like facebook, they keep changing without asking our opinion.
I have now removed word verification in my blog. I am glad you commented it. I totally agree that it takes too much time.I have difficulties reading it, even with glasses. :) It`s really annoying.
Piękne foto i ujęcia! Pozdrawiam - Żaneta
Thank you for note about the word verification. I thought it was just me having a hard time seeing it. LOLI will get on our blog today and see if I can't take it off of there.
They are so funny when they roll over and have to scratch those itches!
It's not nearly as graceful when done by a goat
these are beautiful horses. great series of photos.
Ha Ha! It was like I was right there watching her/him! Fun, thanks!
Awww got that job done. Those itches can drive you crazy.
PS...I just had to come back and read your word verification post below a couple days ago.All I can say is "Here Here" and High five!!! Well said...point taken. I just read a comment left in my comments that she lost her blog posts because of deleting spam?!!! Ummmmm, that seems quite wrong, I've deleted a few posts and it didn't delete my whole blog...wondering. OH well...she won't get me to visit until Blogger changes their verification to a 'check' box or something.
I'll bet that felt good:@)
HA! great roller shots!(i think maybe i'll try that next time i have that unreachable itch...but indoors...)
and why do they always wait until they're clean and groomed to do it?
It's always funny to watch a horse roll around like that! I haven't seen it in a long time though. You just wouldn't think they could move around like that where they are so big!
Wonderful to see...
Very good photos. I always wondered, is it because they are happy or have an itch.Greetings,Filip
I always liked watching it this time of year and then walking to the place they had just rolled and seeing all of the winter hair on the ground. Then I knew spring was really here. Nice shots.
Classic! You've given me my first giggle of the day with the last photo + comment.Happy day Lovely.x
Lovely series!Have a nice weekend:)
Wonderful series! Looks like FUN!
ahhhh...got it.......that's much better! And now for a snack.
I wish that I could do that!
Well that looks like it felt soooo goood!
That's how I felt in bed this morning! Although I missed out on the full body snort! I love your horses!
Beautiful photos of beautiful horses. And you have sunshine!!Lucky ladyxxx
Great series from you. The horses are so nice.Have a lovely weekend.Greetings from Hilda
this is so much fun to scroll through, I did it twiceyour captions are greatbeautiful horsesand Amen to No Word VerifyI suppost that 100%it's getting ridiculousI took the button, if that's not cool just tell me
There is just something wonderful about watching creatures roll around on the ground like that...cat, dog, horse or the little girl of friend mimicking the cat. It must be pure pleasure.
Such a wonderful series of gorgeous horses! Ahhh, red horse seems to not have a worry in the world!
Great !!!...owwwww so sweet....xxx..
I think I would like to be one of your horses right now. Last week was the worst ever. I have between 6 and 8 students daily in in-school suspension. I am behind in my commenting and my class with Kim Klassen because I have been so tired each day. Maybe it is getting to be the time to live with less, travel less, and become a REAL retired teacher. I thought about using the picture for the shadows, but the one I used is so special. While I am here on the computer Buddy is out on a mountain. He is now talking about doing Mt. Hood this summer...I am NOT in favor of that one. He is a hiker and not a mountain climber. Thanks for your continued support. My only 2 cousins line in Texas. Maybe one day I will get out there. Hugs....genie
Horses being horses, justwonderful to watch. My dog doesexactly the same thing, and actually looks like shes smilingwhilst she rubs that itch!!
It amuses me that the white horse was so uninterested in the red horse's itchiness. Surely one horse can scratch another!
Looks like me when I have an itch in that spot on my back I can't reach!
I watch my cats and dogs do the roll all the time. The dogs in the dirt and the cats on their spiced up cardboard scratching devices!
T, nothing like agood roll in the grass!
LOL! I love it!
Wonderful series of photos... the word "exuberance" comes to mind for me!
What captures! So cool to watch unobserved. You never know what you'll catch!
Oh that was fun, let's do it again!
The grey one looks like he's watching out while his buddy takes a roll and they are back together eating and all is fine....Love these shots
I love to watch our horses roll around. They really seem to enjoy getting a good scratch all over. They are covered with mud right now after all this rain.
The horses seem to live a wonderful life / Brita
Hope the itch got scratched!
They are adorable, aren't they?I love horses...but I have none...HugsBS
Where is a nice scratchy shrub when you need one, that's what I would like to know! :-)
Oh, you are a wonderfu, talented photographer!!!Really beautiful scene of horses♡♡♡ Love from east, xoxo Orchid*
Nothing like a good scratch or two to set things right...
You caught the essence of a good roll!
I have a little scratcher I use. And when my cats need an itch, they just move to me and use me to scratch their chin:) Hope you are having a fun Saturday. Lots of gardening to do this week. I could use a couple of those horses...or maybe goats to eat some of the weeds around here:)
lol...reminds me of happy dogs rolling around on the grass!
My back itches now! Love the series
Hi TexWisGirl, Wonderful horse photographs. Yes, the horses do like a good roll on occasion. Have a very nice Sunday tomorrow!
Pure joy :)And the other horse seems completely oblivious.
Have you even been sitting on a horse when they decide to shake? The first time one did that with me it felt really weird but kind of cool at that same time! :)Great photos of the horses!
Too funny!!!! It was such a nice day here today, and I felt like doing that myself! :-)
Ha, ha! I have a Clydesdale and I swear the earth shakes when he does that!
Great sequence of shot! Hope your having a lovely weekend.
Great post. When you have an itch, you just gotta scratch.
Scritch that spot!
I wouldn't mind having a day like that...sandie
Whew finally got it! LOL
I could almost feel that. Great.
Fabulous series of photos, and I don't think I've ever seen so many comments on a blog. These pictures sure deserve the response they got.Kay, Alberta, CanadaAn Unfittie’s Guide to Adventurous Travel
ooh, that felt good! signed, brown horse ;o)
It always amuses and amazes me to see huge majestic creatures like horses get down and do a good 'ole roll! LOVE IT!
Looks like it was a good day.
Reminds me of rinsing off the horse I rode after a hot summer day! Great photography!!
haha! Gotta love it when horses roll! They're like giant dogs.
Glad you were there !!!!
Cute series of shots!
is he playing?My Camera-Critters
Hi there - that really must feel good!Very nice sequence.Stewart M - Australia
That was fun! Looks like Willie right after his bath, only he looks for a bare spot in the yard so he can get a little mud worked in with a good roll.
i wish i could own a horse!lovely series of photos.
Looks like reckless abandon to me! What fun it must have been ot stand and shoot these photos! Great job and an enjoyable visual journey for me!
Beautiful!Regards and best wishes
somebody got an itch they can't scratch
Love seeing your horses...such a tough life they have spending all day outdoors, rolling in the grass, and having servants come feed them. ;)
One word AWESOME! I guess that's more than one word :)
Beautiful series and I love the title....my favorite Steve Winwood track.
LOL! Loved this! Especially the full body snort! ;)
LOVE to watch a good roll..thanks for sharing this :)
After a short play, they have to eat some sweet gras. Have a nice week. Greetings from Romania.
Oh I love that series so much!!
An old cowboy saying is that every time a horse rolls all the way over he is worth $100 more...
Wow! I loved seeing this horse enjoying himself/herself so much! Great series of pictures!
I so much wish I could do that!Horses clearly love to do it. They are so full of personality...
This is funny! Don't think I've ever seen that. It's tough not having fingers.
Haha, very funny!
