The Winner of the February 2012 Giveaway is...
...Carole M. from Carole's Creative Corner! Some of you may know Carole. She is a wonderful photographer and blogger, link-up participant, and loyal commenter on so many blogs around Blogland. I am happy this Great Blue Heron drawing will be making its way to the other side of the world to her in Australia!
Thank you to all of you who entered, commented and continue to encourage me. I do feel my drawing talents strengthening as I continue to work at these gifts each month. I've not yet begun one for March, so I better get to it! Stay tuned! :)

That is fun to think of your art in someone's home in Australia. But it would not have been a bad thing to just send it to your neighboring state. Congratulations Carol.

I'm so looking forward to having Theresa's Grey-Blue Heron complete it's journey all the way to east coast Australia. I'll be sure to do a blog-post when it makes it here too.
This was kind of a double-whammie, a combo-gift featuring Brian's (hey BJK Outdoors) wonderful photography, with Theresa's magical drawing and colouring to complete the package.
A huge thank-you to you Theresa, and to each who have left sweet congratulations here also.

Congratulations Carole in Australia, from a green-eyed woman in Bluegrass country in KY/USA. No, really I am green eyed and my eyes grew a little greener when I saw someone had won this amazing drawing that our Theresa created. What a beauty it is!
Theresa, my husband and I have both done watercolours. I sold a whole bunch of them years ago at a small establishment and one of the paintings that he did of baby American Robins was so adored by just about everyone who viewed it, that I took a crisp photograph of it and people were purchasing the photographs to frame, as in limited editions, and those photographs were suitable for framing. Did not know if you ever do that, or not, but your work, truly is amazing and I know that Carole shall cherish her beautiful winning drawing~
Well, drawing in black and white or in color (I use Prisma colored pencils) is a great way to let your creative juices shine and you always seem to do that. I will say, "Congratulations," to Carole for winning the picture. And I hope you are able to keep on keeping on. Nice job.
Congratulations Carole. I sure wanted that Heron as a companion for my Red-tail, Hudson Hawk.
Nice job Theresa. Thanks for the opportunity and fun.
Congratulations Carole, enjoy Theresa's beautiful artistic touch . . .
