Barning It

Still pulling out photos taken in late January.

You've seen this place before for Friday's Fences, but this shot shows the barn, too.

I do like the red...if I was going to have a barn. There is a lot to be said for the rusted tin roof on the first one though. I kinda' like the old timey tin roofs.

I prefer the old barn over the new, that is just a little too red for me.

That last one looks so shiny and new, as if the stickers are still on it! Cute!

I great barns again. I received a video of a Pine Marten feeding this morning from NWO Birds. It's the best video that I've seen. To take a look go to my site and click on the link. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Tex I really like that little barn in the top shot and having that twisted old oak behind it helps with its charm! Crooked Creek is good too and the little red barn is a charmer. Nice and tidy! And BRIGHT!!

Bright red of the barn to match the reddish roof of the house, no doubt . . .

You are barnstorming again, I see. I wonder if your neighbors look out the window and see you snapping away and cut you some slack...

The red barn has nice little sheltered areas for their favorite tractors!

I like the ranch name. The barn is so bright and new looking. Nice post.

At least someone loves the red one. Nothing sadder than seeing a barn all by itself, and empty, where once it was filled with dreams.

Such delicious splashes of colour!

I like the eaves of the red one, but what would one put inside it? I'd probably just put tools:)

The last photo they got the color right which is more than most all of the other Texas barns you've shown. Even still I do take a liking to those rusty tin buildings which seems to make up the majority.

I bet you would have really laughed if you could have seen me going down and those boys with their lunch tray standing there laughing...it was all we could do. It was just too funny! I am determined to stick this one out, but it is going to be the death of me. What in heaven’s name am I going to come up with for next Monday. Love your barn posts...and that tree in the first one is totally awesome. Man, did it catch my eye immediately. And that red one....it is really red...like that one I post a week ago....really red! No bad kids today so am having fun on my computer...wait til tomorrow. When I have an easy day then the next one is usually the Day from Hell! genie
